How can I require signatures on my emailed invoices?

I see that you are looking for information on how to get your customers' signatures on your e-invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'm here to help you with that.
 
Currently, the option to obtain your customers' signatures on your emailed invoices isn't available. For now, I suggest visiting our app center to find a third-party application to allow you to do so. You may also look for apps within QBO. I'll guide you on how.
 
  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. On the left navigation panel, go to Apps.
  3. Under the Find Apps tab, enter a keyword, or use the Browse categories dropdown to locate an app.122923SS.PNG

     

 
Once you've found an app that best suits your needs, click on it to explore the reviews and pricing details. Then, go ahead and start the signup and installation process. Additionally, ensure you authorize QuickBooks to share your data with the selected app. Feel free to customize your preferences as well.
 
Furthermore, you may also use the QBO mobile app so your customer can electronically sign invoices on your phone or tablet. Check out this article to learn how: Capture signatures using the QuickBooks Online app.

How can I require signatures on my emailed invoices?

I run a mobile rv repair business.  I almost never need a signature.  EXCEPT, Extended Warranty Claims.  They require a signed invoice.  I am having trouble finding ANY suitable app add on in the store so I will likely need to download the invoice, upload it to docusign manually and then send it to the customer.  Why oh why quickbooks do you not have such a simple feature, literally a box for drawing, on an invoice.  Please work on this.

To clarify:  I think there is a solution if i am present with the customer...but if i am not, which I not always am with the customer, i have to email them the invoice.

It would be beneficial to incorporate the capability to sign invoices directly within the QuickBooks Online web interface. Although this functionality is not currently available, I recommend providing feedback so that our engineers can take it into account for potential inclusion in upcoming updates.

 

  1. Select Settings ⚙, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit your feedback.
