Note that this makes absolutely no logical sense to change a global work setting from inside an individual invoice.
Perhaps a recommendation could be made to your product development team to create a global menu to edit work info.

No matter what I do, my old address (which is now embarrassing) keeps showing up in my new invoices. I've changed the address over and over in "edit work info" link, yet it still puts the old address in there. Nothing in my Quickbooks online settings has my old address! so where does it get that address from? This is very annoying.
This definitely hurts my business if my clients think I conduct business where I no longer live. I will cancel my subscription if I can't fix this.

How I did it was not in QB Self employed, but my intuit account which is the master overall account
under "accounts.intuit.com" and changed my address in the "Business profile" icon.
Thants where QB looks for the address regardless if change it for that one invoice.
