I started using the Bank feed without reviewing how to do it. Now I have a bunch of transactions with UNDO listed under "action". Under what circumstances does this show up as the "action" and what exactly should I do?
I can share some information about the Banking tab, @REB46.
When you connect your online banking accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO), it will automatically download all of your bank transactions from the last 90 days (or more) into the Bank Feed.
All these download transactions can be seen from the For Review tab. You’ll use this tab to review and add the transactions. This is where you either set a category, find a match, record it as transfer, or record it as credit card payment.
After reviewing your transactions and categorizing them to the appropriate accounts, they will display in the Categorized tab.
If you click the Undo button under the Actions column, the transaction will be moved back to the For Review tab. This is where you can edit the transaction or remove it from the account.
If there are transactions that are not required in your account, you can click on the Exclude button. After that, you can now find them in the Excluded tab.
Here’s everything that you need to know on how to use online banking, connect bank accounts, and review your bank feed in QuickBooks Online.

Hi
I clicked 'undo' on 5 transactions which had been incorrectly classified. They now appear in the 'For Review' list, however when I try to re-classify them nothing happens? I get a blank screen with a small bank account summary on it, but the transaction remains in the 'For Review' list?
Please help.
Thanks, Lisa
Hey there, @Lisa P2.
It's great to see you back in the Community. I hope your day is going well so far.
You should be able to easily reclassify these transactions in the "For Review" section by double-clicking on the transaction. Don't worry. I can walk you through the steps. Here's how:

Under the Review tab, I select all transactions that I want to change. If I go to the next page of transactions to select more transactions to change, the previous selections are de-selected. How is that helpful if you have 20 pages of transactions.
Thanks for sharing this in the thread, SSWAMY. Let me share my knowledge and expertise to get you back to categorizing your transactions in Quickbooks Online.
To add the transactions from the For Review tab to the Categorize tab, you'll need to manually select and add them based on the page. By doing this, all the transactions you previously selected wouldn't deselected.
To do so, you can follow the steps below for your reference:
Once done, you can categorize them seamlessly to make your account accurate.

This would not help much at all. I have 20 pages of transactions, some of which are mis-categorized by QB. These transactions are scattered across the 20 pages. I want to select these manually and set the correct category in one step. Right now I have to repeat that action page by page, because the simple act of pagination of transactions clears all previous selected checkboxes.
This is very clunky software, at least as far as categorization is concerned. For example, I want to review categorized transactions in the account register, even when I am still reviewing transactions for that account. Thus, I need to see the review window and the register window simultaneously. The only way, I was told by QB, is to login a second time in a new tab and then set up the required register. Is there a better way?
Hello there, SSWAMY.
I recognize your effort in categorizing your bank transactions. I'll share insights that could help you with the categorization.
In QuickBooks Online, selecting multiple transactions and then moving to the next page will deselect the previously selected entries. Hence, you need to perform and repeat the process on each page. Also, utilizing a different tab is the only way to check the For review tab and your register together.
In addition, when categorizing transactions, QuickBooks will automatically suggest different categories. You can manually change and select another category by clicking on the entry.
A bank rule will also help you auto-categorize transactions, which QuickBooks will remember and apply to the upcoming transactions. Let me guide you on how.
For detailed information about the process above, please refer to this article: Set up bank rules to categorize online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Meanwhile, if you want to prevent QuickBooks from suggesting categories, you can disable this feature by following the steps below:
