I looked into companies that integrate with QB and automatically add credit card surcharges to our invoices. Most companies do NOT have this capability yet (Square and Helcium both say they will be able to do this in about a year) BUT I did find a company who is saying they can do it. It’s PayorCRM. They are expensive, between $900 and $2400/yr depending on the size of your company so my small company decided not to do it, but just wanted to pass on the info I found. Fiat Lux BTW is just an Indonesian company with no phone number or address, they do not do payment processing themselves, they only recommend companies that do payment processing for QuickBooks.
If you are B2C, you can check a proposal management app to integrate with QBO to accept payments with/without credit card surcharges.

We decided to go with Skyline Payments. They integrate with Quickbooks quite nicely. I have been happy with them so far. It is a whole system that allows customers to see their account balances, make partial payments, use credit cards or banking, etc. It does cost about $100 per month for the software but the money I save on credit card fees makes it all worth it. The technical support has been great too. I am happy with them.

No, it is not available in Desktop.
For customers where I know they usually pay via credit card, or if I'm unsure, I add a processing fee per the above to the invoice-- in the description I have typed out in caps "IF PAYING VIA CHECK PLEASE DEDUCT PROCESSING FEE". Then, when I get a check I delete the fee off the invoice before applying the payment.
Messes with our 'sales' numbers a little as the income is missing if we already closed the month, but it's worked ok.
I really wish they would add this feature for States where it's legal to charge the fee. I assume they don't because it complicates their compliance process across multiple jurisdictions.
