Hello “JonPril from QuickBooks Team,”

Do you realize that it’s been over a year since this thread was started, and do you realize that QuickBooks has allegedly reported the problem and started work tickets for the engineers *multiple times,* and you still have customers/businesses who are paying tons of money and still unable to upload their logo to their invoices? This is infuriating!! How can QuickBooks sit around collecting our money and not even make the simplest effort to solve a MAJOR problem!!

When opening an account, uploading your logo is the first thing you do! This item is of the absolute highest importance!! How do you not get that?!

How can QuickBooks  string us along for over a year, claiming you are working on it, but not actually doing ANYTHING to fix it?!!!  This should be a very simple, basic coding fix! This should take 24 hrs, maybe a few days, tops! Intuit is a Fortune 500 company with all digital products and tons of engineers. This is unacceptable. So constantly telling us to use another browser is a bulls**t way to kick the can down the road and just hope we give up.  Seriously? Unresolved after a YEAR???? Unacceptable!!!!

This isn't the kind of service we want you to experience, @balapavan

Getting the logo uploaded plays an important role in every business as this represents the company's brand. I appreciate the steps you've tried on your end to get this fixed. However, for now, the investigation on this issue is still in progress as mentioned by RyanM above. Rest assured we are taking care of this matter with urgency.

If you haven't contacted our support team, I'd suggest getting in touch with them. You can either refer to the steps provided by RenjolynC above or through this article: Contact the QBO Customer Support Team. Just provide this investigation number (INV-38488) to our specialists. This lets them notify you about its status via email once your company is added to the list of affected users.

Once fixed, you'll be able to customize or remove your logo in the Custom Form Styles menu. For more information, please visit this website: Logos on Sales Forms

Your patience and cooperation are highly appreciated. You can count me in if there's anything else you need, @balapavan.

@omnia-oah Your solution to change the standard form to add a logo worked for me. Now lets hope the engineers can replicate this and identify the difference between this code and the home page code! One can hope right?

The suggestion of @omnia-oah is what finally worked for me. I just joined quickbooks today and was having a lot of trouble uploading my logo. Changing browsers, clearing the cache, and using MS Paint didn't work for me, but the suggestion of @omnia-oah worked.

Please update your records, and add this as an issue to resolve.

I am new to QuickBooks too, and cannot upload a company logo even after following your checklist.

This fix worked for me too, in Chrome.

I'm glad to know that you were able to upload your logo, Warren_CPT.

Our engineers have identified that this issue appears to be happening in the Microsoft Edge browser. As of now, we recommend using other browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari when uploading a logo.

On the other hand, our engineers will continue working on a solution to get this fixed. That way, Edge users will no longer have to switch browsers when changing a logo.

Thanks for sharing what you did. I'm sure a lot of users will find your post helpful. Kudos!

@JessT I am sorry if I sound frustrated and crass, but I wonder how you can come back and suggest to use Chrome, FireFox etc when there are about three pages of posts complaining this issue occurs on all of them? Is your official policy to ignore all other posts and only address what is convenient? This demonstrates the sad state of the level of technical understanding QB has.

Hi @balapavan,

I understand how it feels when an app you use isn't working as you'd expect. If you already tried the troubleshooting steps provided in this thread and you still experience the same issue, then I suggest you contact our Technical Support team for assistance.

They can investigate the cause as to why you have the same issue even when you're not using an Edge browser.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click the Help menu.
  3. Select Contact us.

Feel free to leave a comment below in case you have other questions in mind. I'll be sure to get back to you.

Tried every format of image that there was - then saw your thread - I was using Edge and switched to Firefox.  Resolved instantly - wish I would have saw this thread first would have saved me 3 hours.

Absolute Joke QuickBooks..  It is now Jan 2020 and we are experiencing the same issues with importing Logo as all others in this thread.  A total joke!   I have used MYOB for over 21 Years  and never experienced such issues with importing logo.   Also, who has a SQUARE LOGO these days???

Let us know how to overcome this issue or we will be cancelling subscription.

Regards,

John Kay

Hi there, @JOHNKAY.

I appreciate you for sharing your experience with us. I want this to be taken care of.

We can upload your company logo by accessing your account in a new incognito window, to check if the issue is related to your current browser or not.

Here are the keyboard shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl Shift P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Once completed, you can log back into your account and upload your logo. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Click on Company at the left pane.
  4. Click the on the logo box.
  5. Select a logo to import by clicking the blue in the pop-up.
  6. In the next pop-up select the logo image file to import. The logo will import and the Save button will be grayed out.
  7. Click the image of the logo to select it.
  8. The Save button will become active.
  9. Click the Save button.
  10. On the Account and Settings page click Save.
  11. The logo is now active, click Done.

To know more about the process, please read out this article: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.

If you can do so without any issues, you may need to clear the cache of your regular browser. Too many files will affect the browser's performance and behavior. Also, you may use other supported browsers such as Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer as an alternative.

Stay in touch if you have other QuickBooks concerns. I'm always here to help. Take care!

Tried this now in a private browser, all cache's clear. Still doesn't work!

This is absolutely ridiculous for something so incredibly simple!

Hi there, useless1.

I see how adding a logo would be helpful for you and your business. Since you already used a private browser and cleared the cache, I suggest contacting our Support Team. They can perform a screen share to investigate why you're still unable to import a logo in your company file.

1. Open your QuickBooks Account.
2. At the top right, click the Help icon.
3. Click Contact Us.
4. Under What can we help you with?, enter any concerns.
5. Click Let's Talk.
6. You'll be routed into the Choose a way to connect with us page.
7. Select how you want to contact them and fill in the information.

You may refer to this article for additional information on how to upload, edit, or delete logos from your invoices, estimates, or sales receipts: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.

Still an issue in 2023. Time to change software. Customer service is just copy and paste responses or tell you to call. Kinda crazy a company as big as intuit can't get the tech to have users upload a simple logo. Very telling. Already begun the switch. Happy to say goodbye!

This thread was opened FIVE YEARS AGO and the problem still persists today. I've been having this issue since June and tech report can't resolved it.  I've tried different browsers, cleared my cache, used different logo files.  Nothing works.

Hello there, @DJF-CPA.

I've seen that you spent a lot of effort with your concern about saving the logo in QuickBooks Online. Let me help you get this fix.

As per checking on our end, there was an investigation before that referred to your issue. However, the investigation was already closed and resolved.

With this, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can also provide an additional set of steps to fix the error.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Select Contact Support Team.
  4. Type again Talk to a human and click Contact Support Team.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.

Additionally, I've attached this link to help you edit and customize logos on sales forms. Adding this helps establish the company's brand and personality.

For future references, you may check out these articles:

You can always get back to me if you have other concerns about QuickBooks. I'd be glad to answer them for you. Have a great day.

This fix worked for me after trying everything else.  Tech support did not fix the problem. Please let me know if it works for you.

1. Select the Gear Icon at the top right, and then select Custom Form Styles

2. Select Edit on the right

4. When the invoice template opens, on the left select Make Logo Edits.  You can then add your logo, save it and select Done

5. Now when you go back into Company Settings, the logo appears where it should have been all along

Weird, but solved my problem  (edited - I just realized that omnia-oah posted the same reply Nov 20, 2019 so credit to omnia-oah!)
