Greetings, @michaelmuff76.
Let me be the first to welcome you to the QuickBooks Community. I’m here to share with you where to find the Pay Now button in your invoices.
The Pay Now feature allows you to accept payments on invoices by using a debit, credit card, Apply Pay, or bank transfer. This option will be available on your invoices once you turn on QuickBooks Payments.
To turn on QuickBooks Payments, follow the steps below:
1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Select Account & Settings under Your Company.
3. Click Payments.
4. Select Learn more on the QuickBooks Payments option.
5. Click Set Up Payments to get started.
6. Fill in all the business information including the bank account where you want your customers’ payments to be deposited.
7. Once done, click the Submit button.
By following the steps above, you can now accept payments with the Pay Now button on your invoices. For reference, you may check out this helpful tutorial on how to set up and use QuickBooks Payments: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/tutorials/lessons/how-to-set-up-and-use-quickbooks-payments/.

I can help you get the Pay Now button added on your electronic invoices.
If the Pay Now link becomes unavailable on your online invoices, it's possible that the email preference is set to HTML or Plain Text. Let's try checking your Company Settings if there are changes made to your Sale Preferences. Follow the steps below:
You can also try these steps on a private browser. Here are some shortcuts you can try:
If it works, you can switch back to regular browsing then clear your browser's cache.
Here's a great article you can check to know more about adding the payment link on your invoice: How to let my customer pay their invoice online

This option is not displaying for me on the Mac version either. I have set up an account and successfully linked it. Under Customers -> Credit Card Activities -> Link Merchant Account to Company File, it says 'Merchant Services Enabled'. However, when creating invoices, there is no option for Pay Now. Please advise....thank you.
Hello there, @RagNr.
The steps in linking your payments account will only link your Merchant Services account with your company file, so we'll be able to download your payments directly to your company. However, this won't give your customers the capability to pay their invoices online.
At this time, QuickBooks for Mac doesn't have the option to add the Pay Now link, which will enable them to pay via ACH or credit card. I can see how this feature would be beneficial to your business, and I'm preparing a feedback submission to our Product Development Team right now. They place a lot of value in the ideas provided by users, like yourself, when deciding on how best to improve QuickBooks.
Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll be happy t help you out. Wishing you and your business all the best!
