Welcome to the Community, @kyle26.
I've got steps to help ensure you can pull up the wages to job info on the Profit and Loss by Customer report.
The said report shows all your income, expenses, and net income by customer. To make sure we get the wages to job details, you'll have to customize it. I'll guide you with the steps:
To learn more about customizing reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO), see this article: How to customize reports.
If the same thing happens, you'll need to check the account type associated with the customers' wages. We can do this on the Accounting page. Here's how:
Now, start creating transactions using the said account.
Also, you'll want to memorize your reports for easy future access. Simply click the Save customization button, create a name, and hit Save. If ever you wish to access or edit it, you can just go to the Customize reports tab. Check out this resource for the detailed instructions: Memorize reports.
I'm just a reply away if you need more help with managing your reports or anything else related to QuickBooks. Take care and have a great day.
The report doesn't pull wages to customers for us either. The wages are correctly marked as expenses and the distribution account is set to "All Income & Expense Accounts." We use timesheets with all time assigned to customers. Help!
Hello there, @Carol Fisher.
Have you tried following the steps given above? If so, let's perform some browser troubleshooting steps. Usually, this error occurs when there's too much cache in your browser. Let's start by opening QuickBooks Online (QBO) through an incognito window. It's the best place to identify web issues. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
Try to pull up the report again. If it works, go back to the regular browser and clear its cache. We advise customers to clear them out periodically to prevent and fix web issues. You can also try using a different browser. Here's the link: System requirements for QuickBooks Online.
If you still have the same error after following the recommended steps, use other supported browsers in QuickBooks Online.
I've also added these articles about running profit and loss and exporting reports in QBO:

Yes, I followed the instructions above. Clearing the cache and trying another browser does not work. Using incognito does not work. How do I get wages to populate to the report?
I'm grateful for the update that you gave, @Carol Fisher.
I'd like to add some more steps that you can try so the wages of your customers will show up in the Profit and Loss by Customer report.
You'll need to make sure that your customers' transactions are billable and have the Hourly Costs set up. This way, the wages will show up in the report. Here's a reference on the ideal set up of your customers Job/Project, so it will be visible in the report:
However, if these factors are set up correctly and the problem continues, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They have the tools that can help identify the root cause of this matter.
To reach them:
I'm also adding this link attached to guide you in tracking the billable time for jobs in QBO: How to enter billable time by job.
Stay in touch with me if you have any other questions. I'm always here to assist you. Have a good one!
