QBDT RUNNING REPORTS

I use QBDT Premier Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 2018 and I want to run a report

Sales by Customer Detail but I do not want lines with zero quantity to show.  Can I customize

the report to not show those blank lines?  Everything I found regarding this is for online

version only or the answers I saw did not work for me.  Thank you.

QBDT RUNNING REPORTS

Hello @sherrylfacteau,

Thanks for dropping into the Community! I can absolutely help with customizing reports in your QuickBooks Desktop. Here are the basic steps:

  1. Run a report.
  2. On the Report window, select Customize Report.
  3. On the Modify Report window, go to the tab/s you need to update, then select OK when you're done.

For details on the fields in each tab, check out this great article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop

I’ll be here if you have any additional questions about customizing your reports, or anything else. Just drop a comment below. Enjoy your day!

I have already tried the 'customization' of the report - there is no place to uncheck or check or eliminate

"0" quantities.

QBDT RUNNING REPORTS

Good Morning, sherrylfacteau.

Thanks for dropping by the Community this morning, I'm happy to assist you today. With your reports that continue to have the "0" quantities fields, my next recommendation would be to set the report preferences. There you can set personal and company preferences. You can find the steps to do so in the following article.

You can also reach out to our support team for further guidance, they will be able to guide you step-by-step on the process as well as help with any other questions you have pertaining directly to your specific account. To reach them, you can follow the steps found here.

Thank you for your time and I hope you have a nice day today.
