To clarify, we are trying to obtain an e-signature that includes bundled inventory items. When trying to review the invoice in the app it tells us it’s not available and we must edit using the web.
Hello there, 3DDoors.
I appreciate you for getting back to us here in the Community. I'm here to share some information about e-signature on an invoice.
Capturing signatures on an invoice is available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app. However, there's no option to add bundled inventory items to the app.
In the meantime, you can use a browser on your phone to add bundled items to an invoice. Once done, use the mobile app for e signature.
You can also check this article for more information about comparing mobile app features. For more useful topics, feel free to browse them here on our Community page.

When capturing a signature with the quick books online app, correct me if I am wrong, it looks like the signature file is not embedded into the invoice. Looks to me that it is a separate file that is not showing a link to the invoice.
Thanks for chiming in on this thread, @tesaccts1.
It's great to see you here in the Community forum. I'll share some insight about how capturing signatures works in QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.
Once you capture signatures for your invoices or estimates, they will automatically be embedded in that transaction. See the image below for what it should look like from an invoice in the QBO mobile app.
On the other hand, you will see the captured signature as an attachment if you're viewing it from a web browser. See the image below:
However, if you're referring to whether it will be embedded into the invoice when you send it to your customers, then you're correct that it will be separated from that transaction.
If this isn't the case, can you please send a screenshot of what it looks like on your end?

First, download the app from the Google or App store. Then when creating an estimate or invoice, you can get their signature. I'll share with you how, depending on what phone (iOS and Android) you're using.

Let me know if you have additional questions about managing invoices. I'm always here to help.
You need a 3rd party app to do so.
The capture signature is not an option on my I phone but I can do it on my Apple I pad!!
Thanks for coming back on this thread, @rob21_253.
I acknowledge you for verifying that the feature works on your iPad but not on your iPhone. That said, we can try refreshing your QBO app to refresh the application and resolve common issues. Thus, we can ensure that your mobile app is updated to the latest version.
I'll show you how:
From your phone's settings, select Settings, then, click on General and choose iPhone Storage. Select an app that's taking up a lot of space. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.
Then, we can uninstall and reinstall the app to start with a clean slate.

Could you send me the steps to add a 'Get Signature'. Will I need to send my estimates from my phone to receive a signature from a client? I have QuickBooks online simple start. Last yr. I created estimate/quote from Microsoft, and it had a signature block for my clients. I was hoping to streamline the process. I do most of my work on my computer but have apps on my phone also.
Adding the Get Signature feature is great functionality, TrinityMT.
As of now, this option isn't available in QuickBooks Online. I'd recommend looking for third-party application that you can integrate with the program. I'll show you how.
I can see how this functionality would be beneficial to your business. I encourage sending feedback directly to our Product Development team. This helps us improve the features in the program. Here's how:
Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you personalize the appearance and layout of sales forms so you can add the info that matters most to your business: Customize Invoices, Estimates, and Sales Receipts.
