Signed up and approved for Payments. Took an invoice payment through QuickBooks. Then QuickBooks closed my account. Deposit says on hold for 2weeks now

Hello there, @AllworxHS.

When starting to process or receiving payment for the first time, it takes five (5) business days to deposit your funds since we're still setting up your merchant account. Once done, your payments would be faster. It would be 1-2 business days for credit card payments and 2-7 days for ACH payments. There are also times that deposits may delay. To find out why, check this article: Why are my funds on hold?.

Additionally, banks have their own rules for processing payments. Thus, the deposit schedule is controlled by them.

On your Merchant account, you can also track the payments made by your customers for you to review. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center from a web browser.
  2. Go to the Activity & Reports tab.
  3. Choose Transactions
  4. On the Transactions page, click >Show advanced options
  5. Go to the Card section and enter the Cardholder name which is your customer's name.
  6. Hit the Search button at the bottom.

On that page, all the transactions made will show up.

You can also contact our QuickBooks Payments Customer Support Team for them to check the payment status, its reasons for the delay, and help you resolve it.

I'm attaching some articles below which you may find helpful:

There is no logging into payments, QuickBooks gave me access to rake payments, I took one, they shut my account down two days later or something like that saying they couldn’t open a payments account. Nonsense.

@AllworxHS

Utilize another payment processor to integrate with your QBO account.

I have done this already. My issue is with a payment that I collected through payments within the few days they had my payments account up and where this payment is now. Floating through space doesn’t close the file on this clients project and I can’t double charge him, so I’m trying to figure out how to get that payment either deposited or refunded so I can charge him through another platform
