We recently received reports that QuickBooks Online (QBO) users aren't seeing the Save and New button when creating sales receipts. For a temporary fix, you'll have to close the window and enter the sales receipt again.

 

Also, I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can add your company to the list of affected users and get an update about the resolution status. You can also provide this investigation number for easy tracking: INV-62261. To reach them, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  4. Select Contact Us.

Hey, and my "Save and Close" button is no longer visible when applying payments to invoices!

Thanks for letting us know about that missing button, oceanbeachesglass.

 

The button you said is still connected to the issue that Mark shared. However, after checking, I found out that INV-62261 is already closed and is resolved today. So, let's try doing the browser troubleshooting steps to see if they would make the buttons visible.

 

To start, you'll want to sign in to QuickBooks using a private browser. This step disables its extensions and stops the cache from saving your browsing history.
 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • MS Edge and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N


If you can now see the buttons, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If not, please try other browsers to see if we get the same thing.

 

If nothing works, please contact our QBO Support Team to revisit this case.

You also want to use an incognito window and make sure that the browser is supported and updated. This is to ensure that we're using a compatible browser to avoid errors.

 

If the same thing happens, please reach out to our Suppor Team so they can further check it:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter "Save and new button".
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback.
