Hello, TRL.
I'll lend a hand and address the issue about the missing customer statements from the sales transactions screen.
Did you create a statement but you're unable to see it on the All Sales screen? If that's the case, the statements have their own filter option. They won't appear if you're using the All transactions filter.
We'll want to set the filter option to Statements instead. On the All Sales page, click the Filter button. Set the Type to Statements, then click Apply.
However, did you create a statement but you can't see it on all filter options? This is likely caused by a cache-related issue. When a browser's cache data is corrupted or full, it can cause odd behaviors within QuickBooks.
To confirm this, we'll want to use an incognito or private browser:
Log in to QuickBooks, then check your customer statements from there.
When you're able to see the statements, let's go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. This removes the web cache data that's causing the issue.
After clearing the cache, close out any browser processes for the finishing touches.
Alternatively, we can use another supported browser to fix the issue.

The problem is, the statement option is gone from the filter drop down button.
Invoices
Estimates
Credit memos
Sales Receipts
Recently paid
Money received
Unbilled Income
The above are all there, but not Statements.
Thanks for getting back to the thread, @TRL.
The Statement option from the filter dropdown button in all transactions isn't available in QuickBooks Online. In the meantime, I recommend sending your suggestions and feedback about this feature to our product developer. Here's how:
You can always use this link to check the status of your request: QuickBooks Online Customer Feedback.
Moreover, let me give you another workaround to locate your Statements in QuickBooks Online. To do that:

Siriel,
I have been using Quickbooks online for years. I have been using this feature for years until it went away for some reason. It was there one day and gone the next. I have used this feature to print generated statements for all customers. I email some statements and if I find an error after the statements are generated; I was able to go out of the create statements screen, correct the error and send them from the All Sales area by the drop down filter and select statements. This feature has saved me time. Once you go into the create statements for all customers, a statement is generated even if you try to cancel and try to start over, which is another quirk of Quickbooks that does not make sense.
I have been sending feedback on this issue. This is very frustrating. You need to start listening to the people that use Quickbooks every day. I chatted yesterday with someone at Quickbooks about this problem with no satisfaction. I even did a screen share. He (Alex) ran me around so much that I finally had to quit.
This statement feature was there and now it is gone! Is it new that it isn't available in Quickbooks online or has someone made a change and messed it up?
Siriel,
The below "work around" does not exist in my Quickbooks online.
Moreover, let me give you another workaround to locate your Statements in QuickBooks Online. To do that:
Hi TRL,
I understand that you've been using QuickBooks for a long time, and checking statements and doing basic troubleshooting steps are not new to you. Having said that, I recommend contacting our QBO Support team to check this further using more tools.
Feel free to go back to this thread if you have other questions in mind.
Hi James,
I'm still trying to get an answer to my question. I sent you an attachment showing my problem with finding statements in the All Sales when using the instructions below. I hope you can help. I have been trying, but no at Quickbooks community can answer so far. Please read my prior attempts to get this question answered.
To delete a statement, open it and select the Delete option.
Thank you,

Thank you for following up and providing detials, TRL.
I just replicated this on my end and looked for any updates to confirm your concern about the filter option for statements. In the All Sales tab, the filter dropdown button really doesn't have the Statements option.
Alternatively, you can open each of your customer's profile to see the customer statements by utilizing the filter option.
Like this:
I also recommend contacting our Customer Support Team if you have any additional questions concerning the filter option. If troubleshooting procedures are required, they have the necessary tools.
I'm adding these articles to so see other reports and how to customize them:
Feel free return to this thread if you have other questions about customers and statements. Take care and have a great day!
Wow, just went to do my first set of statements ever and following these instructions because I couldn't figure out where they went. This is ridiculous. You have to go to each client individually to see them??? When I did this I found that I have multiple statements on the same day for all my clients even though I canceled before completing the statements the first several times. What the heck? Now I have to delete a bunch....one at a time....under each client record.....absolutely terrible
The Statements option in the dropdown is neither in the Customers tab or All Sales tab. There is also not a list of option to view the Statements in the individual screen of a customer. How do you view a statement that was previously created then???
Thanks for chiming in on this thread, regal.
I can share the detailed step-by-step guide on how you can locate previously created customer statements in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can send a customer statement to customers with outstanding balances or invoices that are about to be overdue. Here's how to view them:
I'll also share a screenshot below so you'll have a visual guide.
If the issue persists, you can perform some troubleshooting procedures to resolve it.
In some cases, excessive cache buildup can result in unusual behaviors with the product. You can isolate the issue by accessing your account in an incognito window. Please refer to these keyboard shortcuts:
Once done, locate the statements again. If you're able to view them, you can return to your regular browser and clear its cache. You may also use a different supported browser.
Furthermore, you may need to send a physical or PDF copy of a statement to your customer at times. Here's a link to an article where you can save a copy to print or send to a customer: Download and save sales forms and statements in QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know if you have any other queries about customer statements in QBO. The Community is available at all times to address your concerns. Keep safe!
Yet another change to statements. What is the big issue with QB not wanting us to see statements for our own customers. Why do you even care? Leave it well enough alone. This brand new change in the last week or so has removed the ability to see statements COMPLETELY from the customer screen. There is no filter or option whatsoever. Then I tried to follow these new instructions, but couldn't find the "all sales" screen. WHY you say?
Because if you use QB in Business View instead of Accountant View they think you don't really want to see all sales activity, you really only want to go right back to the same customer screen you were already on. I had to change to accountant view to even get the "all sales" option. Now my toolbars and screen are overly cluttered with crap I did not want to see. Stop f&$^ing with it.
Why has the Statements option disappeared. There is no filter button either - it has disparaged. Also I find QBO very slowwwwwwww! Also the Export function in QBO to export the G/L, TB, PL, BS results in incomplete G/L and incomplete transactions captured. The G/L exported to Excel is incomplete!
IF QBO/QBOA WAS A HARDWARE I WOULD STAMP AND THROW IT IN THE BIN OVER AND OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for getting involved with this thread, HAM9. I appreciate your detailed information.
When it comes to performance, Intuit expects the most-used pages in QuickBooks to load within 10 seconds. The platform is continually being monitored to ensure the product meets this goal.
While QuickBooks is a web-based service, it also relies on your computer or device's processing power, the amount of available memory (RAM), and bandwidth of your internet connection to perform as intended. A shortfall in any one of these areas can reduce performance. Be sure to confirm your system meets the basic requirements to help narrow down the reason for slow performance.
Here's some ways to improve performance:
