1099s and Oregon Filing

Hello,

 

I have one contractor who resides in Oregon. I just submitted my 1099s and it said that Oregon had additional filing requirements that I have to do directly with them. 

 

Has anyone done this before? Is the manual option easy to process?

Yes, filing directly with your state is easy, Ss_2019. I'll share more information about this below.

 

Your state requires you to file 1099s based on your business location. Even if you have filed 1099s for their states through QuickBooks, you have to submit additional filings to your state to stay compliant.

 

For the instructions on how to file a 1099 directly with your state, look for your location under the State column. It's in the States partially or not supported section from this article: File your state 1099 forms.
