Thank you for your reply. As I mentioned, I did all of the updates. There has NEVER been any mention that the QB kit has to be used specifically. There is an option to purchase the forms but there is nothing anywhere that says that in order to print 1099-NEC out of QB you MUST use the QB forms. That is ridiculous. I just spent a ton of money on pre-printed forms, NOT knowing that the software ONLY works with the forms provided by QB. It should work with all forms - the issue is that most forms print 3 per sheet. Apparently, the QB forms must be only 2 per sheet, which is why I can't format them.
Also, everything tells you to ALIGN but nowhere does it spell out HOW to align using the vertical/horizontal adjustments.
I love QB Desktop but this seems to be a recurring failure since it was a problem last year as well according to this thread. Thanks for trying.
It doesn"t even show critical updates on my computer as a choice. I am using Quickbooks Enterprise 2021.
Thanks for getting involved in this thread, Janey baby. I've got a couple of insights to share for you to be able to print 3 to a page 1099 NEC form.

I have the most recent update. When I tried to download from your site it says "administrator blocked it". I am the administrator and did not block anything. I am using rightnetwork. does that make a difference? I have tried downloading several times and it still only prints 2 per page instead of 3. I am running out of time. Getting frustrated.
Thanks for keeping in touch with us, @janey baby.

I only have about 50ea of the 1099 NEC's. So I just created a word document and put each vendor in there and print them out. It's aggravating and takes some time, but it works and I spent much less time doing that, than dealing with quickbooks upgrades, on the telephone and online searches to solve the problem. Once you get them on a template, you just need to update each vendor. Hold a printout up to the light and make sure it lines up, then print away.
It is print three separate vendors on one page. I need three of the same vendor in one page. How do I correct this?
