941 Schedule B

Nice to see you here, @ Anita27.

If you're unable to receive the update for the 941 Schedule B, you probably have the same setup for this year.

To verify, it would be best to contact the IRS.  Additionally, make sure to update your software so you always have the latest features and fixes. Then update your payroll tax table to stay compliant with paycheck calculations.

Additionally, here's how you can prepare and file Form 941 Schedule B in QuickBooks Desktop.

I'll be right here to continue helping if you follow-up questions. Stay safe and have a pleasant day ahead.

941 Schedule B

Hi, @Anita27.

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the 941 Schedule B concern you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!

941 Schedule B

I do payroll monthly and I have to submit the Schedule B with my 941 Quarterly report.  I submit my Quarterly Fed and State through QickBooks via the internet BUT QuickBooks doesn't submit the Schedule B form and so every Quarter I have to submit that part by itself with a note, and still the Fed Gov sends me a notice that I did not submit my Schedule B form and then I have to resubmit it and then they still send me a form with a penalty.  Can I get some help how to get the Schedule B form to be submitted through Quickbooks with the 941?   IDEAS?

941 Schedule B

Hi LUC69,

Thank you for joining in on the thread. I see the hassle you've been through with your Schedule B filing. I'll provide information on how it will be included when filing your 941 forms.

The filing of Schedule B depends on your deposit frequency. If you deposit Monthy or Semiweekly, you'll want to declare that as you file 941 in QuickBooks so that the Schedule B form will be included.

On the other hand, the filing procedure is already included in the article that my colleague, Rubielyn_J, shared above. You can then check your filing status to know if the agency received your form.

Please don't hesitate to go back to this thread if you have any other payroll concerns. Take care and have a good one.
