How does scheduling integrate with time tracking?

With QuickBooks Time, employee time data and scheduled shifts and jobs go hand in hand. When you create shifts or jobs, you’ll have the ability to specify job codes, billable or non-billable time, and add notes to the job or shift. When employees clock in through the QuickBooks Time schedule, all the information they need is pre-populated. At the end of the pay period, you’ll have an accurate-to-the-second record of all employee hours that can be synced with your favourite payroll software in seconds and used to create invoices and bill clients.
