Let me share some information about changing QuickBooks Desktop payment method.

Only the primary contact for your QuickBooks account can update the billing info. Please know that we'll have to use your Intuit Account info when signing in to CAMPs and this could be different from what you use to sign in to your company file.

It's possible that the account you're currently using isn't the one you've entered upon registering to QuickBooks Desktop. In case you've forgotten the email address you registered your product with, you can select I forgot my user ID or password at the bottom of the CAMPs sign-in page.

I'd also encourage getting in touch with our Customer Care Team. This way, we'll be able to help you in retrieving your account and updating your mailing address and payment method. 

Here's how to connect us:
 

1. Open QuickBooks.
2. Select Help from the top menu bar, then choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
3. Click Contact Us.
4. Enter your concern, then select Continue.
5. Choose Start messaging with a support expert or Get a callback from the next available representative.

I also have this problem!!!!!!  I cannot activate my Intuit Data Protect or change anything in CAMPS.  The CAMPS account is registered to a previous employee who worked here 12 years ago.  The email is no longer accessible.  I have spent HOURS AND HOURS on the phone with a half a dozen CS agents and still don't have access.  I have sent in paperwork requesting it be changed with the owners Driver License and corporate documents.  I have heard NOTHING in return.  We just paid several thousand dollars to renew this subscription and I cannot get a hold of anyone that can fix this and I am very frustrated (HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT).  This has been an ongoing issue for the last couple of years.  It became a huge problem this year because the credit card that I used for the subscription renewal expired.  Please help me get to a person that can fix this!  Why do I not have any response back from all the paperwork I have sent in multiple times trying to get this fixed?

I would feel the same way if this happened to me since this would affect the QuickBooks service, and eventually, business operations when the card is not updated.

I know you've done this many times, but I'm gonna have to let you contact our QuickBooks Desktop Support again to make a follow-up. I'm unable to get or discuss your account details from here for security reasons.

I am on the phone with them right now for the second time today!!!  I keep getting put on hold so they can talk to tech support.  Why can I not just speak to someone who can help me rather than wasting more HOURS of my time waiting for someone to ask me to troubleshoot steps that I have already done SEVERAL times?????????  I want to talk to tech support!!!!

Another option, ask the refund for your renewal subscription and purchase a new license instead to create a new CAMPS. If you are in US, you can purchase the license from a partner to get perpetual discounts to renew later. 

Does that mess up my merchant account and payroll subscriptions?  I am so over all of this!  Every time I download stuff my multi-user settings get messed up.  Intuit's customer service SUCKS

If your merchant account and payroll subscription are registered under the same CAMPS as your existing QBD Enterprise license, your options are limited. Consider to prepare your time to purchase a new QBD license and asking Support to move your merchant account and payroll subscription to the new CAMPS.
