It seems like you have to export/import/new the first time you use TechSoup, but from then on they'll let you keep using it with annual confirmations?
https://www.techsoup.org/products/quickbooks-online-plus--1-year-subscription--5-users--G-49616--
But is that saying $50/year total cost? I find that highly unlikely given that the QuickBooks Online Plus product described is $645/year. As it is, I can't tell if using TechSoup actually saves any money at all?
Hello - curious if you've gone ahead and switched to Techsoup? Is it really $50/year and provides the same services? Thanks.
Hi there, @pcnc-treasurer.
Thanks for joining this conversation. I'm here to help make sure that your concern about TechSoup is taken care of.
Intuit partner companies offering discounts and extended trials. To know more about TechSoup and to check for specific pricing, I highly suggest contacting our Phone Support team.
Here's how to reach them:
1. On your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, click the Help icon at the upper right.
2. Select Contact Us at the bottom to connect with live support.
Please let me know how it goes or if you have any follow-up questions or concerns. I'm always here to answer them. Take care and have a good one!
Hi,
We need for our nonprofit organization a 2020 version of quickbooks, Windows PC version. It seems like it is out of stock on techsoup, is there anywhere else we can get it at a discount price or is there any way to know if and when it will restock?
Thanks!
Afaik, special price for the Non-Profit is only provided by Techsoup. Another option, you may purchase the license from any partner with a competitive price. You can get a license of QB 2020 Premier for 1 user for < $400. Send your private message to us for reference.
Hope it helps.
You can visit the QuickBooks Desktop Premier page, Zla1.
You can see the latest price of QuickBooks 2020.
You'll have the option to select QuickBooks Premier Plus 2020. In this version, you'll have unlimited customer support, automated data back-up and recovery, and you can access to the latest features and updates.
Please click this link for more information: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/desktop/premier/.
If you still need help, please let me know. Our doors are always open for you!
Yes it was now it’s 60 for 1 license and 150 for 3 licenses but they are out of stock right now
That is really sad! I am having to do this with a client. Close their current subscription and then go thru TechSoup. It should not have to be like that!
Does Intuit offer a discounted price for QB Desktop Pro 2021 for a non-profit Homeowners Association? We don't need the extra features of Premier, and I don't want the online version. We're also not a high-minded social change entity, as seems to be required by TechSoup. We're just a small HOA trying to be careful with our money. $400 for 3-years' use of Desktop Pro without receiving important software patches seems like too much to pay. Does Intuit give security patches for free to non-subscription model customers, or are those held back too?
