Good day, dethloff.amy4

Allow me to provide details about QuickBooks Online for non-profits.

You can check this site for the price table for QuickBooks Online subscriptions:

https://quickbooks.intuit.com/business-type/non-profit/

If you have a tax exemption for your non-profit organization, you can also apply for a state tax exemption for your QuickBooks Online subscription. This article outlines the details and steps:

I hope this helps you get what you need today, dethloff.amy4! Please let me know if I can provide any other additional support.

They used to give non-profit discounts. Billing is now sending existing customers to Techsoup instead of directly applying discounts. Unfortunately Techsoup is only for NEW customers and requires longtime existing customers to end their subscription and company and rebuild a  new company something not particularly practical or even smart from an accounting perspective. They have basically abandoned their existing non-profit customers.

It seems like you have to export/import/new the first time you use TechSoup, but from then on they'll let you keep using it with annual confirmations?

But is that saying $50/year total cost? I find that highly unlikely given that the QuickBooks Online Plus product described is $645/year. As it is, I can't tell if using TechSoup actually saves any money at all?

Hello - curious if you've gone ahead and switched to Techsoup? Is it really $50/year and provides the same services? Thanks.

Hi there, @pcnc-treasurer.

Thanks for joining this conversation. I'm here to help make sure that your concern about TechSoup is taken care of.

Intuit partner companies offering discounts and extended trials. To know more about TechSoup and to check for specific pricing, I highly suggest contacting our Phone Support team.

Here's how to reach them:

1. On your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, click the Help icon at the upper right.
2. Select Contact Us at the bottom to connect with live support.

Please let me know how it goes or if you have any follow-up questions or concerns. I'm always here to answer them. Take care and have a good one!
