Join nowWe are a pubic library. As such we do not have a Principal Officer. Our trustees are elected officials, they turn over frequently and the position of treasurer rotates. It would entirely inappropriate to tie the social security number of any of the trustees to the library's banking information. Has anyone else faced this issue and found a way around it? We have now lost the ability to do direct deposit because Quickbooks does not seem able to bypass this requirement.
We need the social security number when setting up the principal officer's information, BrooklineNH.

Thank you for the reply Kristine. We have reached out several times to your support and they do not seem to be able to bypass the requirement, which is why we asked the question publicly, hoping someone had found a work around. We have used quickbooks for years, including direct deposit and never had to provide a SS#. We simply do not have one to provide.
