QBO , Premier and Enterprise

We're thrilled to have you here in the Community, Mhekang123! It'd be my pleasure to answer your question and provide insights into the differences between each version of QuickBooks.

One of the main distinctions between QuickBooks Online (QBO) and the Desktop version is the accessibility feature. QBO is a cloud-based program, which means you can access and work on it from anywhere, on any device, as long as you have an internet connection.

On the other hand, the Desktop version requires installation on your desktop computer.

To learn more about the differences between QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, you can refer to these comparison tables:

With regards to QuickBooks Desktop Premier vs Enterprise, each edition caters to varying business needs through distinct sets of features.

QuickBooks Premier is on the higher end for medium or large businesses. Some of the key features are:

  • Inventory tracking
  • Forecasting
  • Industry-specific features and reports
  • You can add up to 5 users

The QuickBooks Enterprise is all your business needs and is an advanced version of the Pro and Premier. This software allows you to track over 100,000 customers and vendors with up to 30 users in the company data file.  It's mainly designed for larger businesses with complex needs. It also offers advanced features such as:

  • Enterprise accounting
  • Multi-company management
  • Advanced inventory and reporting
  • Cloud access

You can read more details about this here:

The choice between Premier and Enterprise depends on the size and complexity of your business. Premier is well-suited for medium-sized businesses, while Enterprise caters to larger businesses with more advanced requirements.

Lastly, I would like to share some articles that could provide additional guidance, depending on the version that you will be using:
