QuickBooks Online (QBO) has the option to delete your data to start again, @dpicnictx-gmail-. Follow along below to get this done right away.
In performing this task, you have a few things to consider. But before that, I recommend exporting all of the transactions, name lists, or reports from your company and saving them on your desktop folder. This is to ensure you have a copy of those data that can be accessed for future use. When done, please refer to the steps below to proceed.
In QBO, to delete all of the data, your company must be less than 60 days old. Here's how:
When finished, you're now ready to start your books from scratch.
However, if your company is more than 60 days old, the option you can take is to cancel your QBO account. Just like what Fiat suggested above. I'll guide you on how:
This method will give you read-only access to view your data for a year. The system will delete it after that time frame.

I keep getting this message when I try to cancel my subscription, "Unable to process your request at this time. Please sign out and try again later. If the issue persists, please contact support and reference this message.(Error code:-81623)" this has been going on for 2 days.
I am attempting to start over but "purgecompany" does not work. I started on 9/22/22, so it is less than 60 days. But I thought about canceling then starting over again, but this looks like it will charge me for this month, plus my new sign up. Is there a way around this, where if I cancel, I and sign back up, I will not be charged twice?

I can see that you've tried to purge your company data but don't work. Since your book is less than 60 days old, you should be able to delete everything from your record using that option. To successfully do the process, sign in to your QuickBooks account as an admin. Then, proceed with wiping out your data.
If you're getting the same result, I recommend contacting our QBO Support Team. This way, they'll be able to look into your account securely and help you with purging your data.
If the option is no longer available for you, you need to cancel your current company, then sign up for a new one. In this case, you will be charged with subscription fees when getting a new plan.

What if the account is a Pro advisor account that needs to be deleted and started over? It's more then 60 days old. I added my personal banking account to play around and get comfortable with things before adding clients. I regret adding my personal account and just want to start everything over. What's the best method for me? Thank you!

When you decided to cancel your QuickBooks subscription, you still have a year to access your company file as Read-Only access. This considers printing forms and reports you might need in the future.
However, if you plan to resubscribe after a year, you won't be able to access your previous data.

So odd that there is no room for mistakes with the Simple Start subscription, it should be easy to remove information. I thought that remove all the information and start over was a super basic feature.

I have had my company for less than 60 days and the purgecompany URL isn't working. How do I start over without redoing my subscription?
You can't purge QBO Simple Start. You should cancel your account and signup for a new one instead.

I'm in the same situation. I canceled my Simple Start added a new subscription and now QB won't link my bank account to the new company. I've disconnected the bank in the old company.

@Maybelle_S The error is: "Sorry an unexpected error has occurred. We could not fetch your accounts from your bank."
I've tried all of the steps you've mentioned and my bank won't connect to my new company.
I was curious to see if under my old company (I cancelled the subscription which will be completely cancelled on 4/2/23) to see if it would allow me to reconnect my bank account to the old company, and it did. I went back into the old company and disconnected. Next, I went into my new company to add the bank and received the error from above yet again. It is a Wells Fargo business account. I know that there is come kind of issue with Wells, but why would it let me add the same bank account to my old company.
I've tried the to purge the old company, which apparently when you have Simple Start, you can't do this. Seems crazy so have such little control. I just want my bank information completely deleted from the old company.
It does not work - it simply refreshes the page and the data is still there.
