When I open QB Desktop Pro Plus 2021, a box appears that says my QB information needs to be updated and I must update in in X number of days or I will loss access. My subscription info is current and my subscription doesn't renew until August. This has been happening for several months and has always said it my info needed to be updated within 6 days. Recently, the number of days started to go down and is now at 3. Also and very importantly, when I get the box asking me to update information QB locks up for 8 seconds between fields making it very frustrating g to use. I have tried to get this resolved 3 times through QB support but nobody knows how to fix this.

This appears when you're not logged in to your Intuit account while working with QuickBooks Desktop.
A few months ago, we made an update in QuickBooks that requires Admin users to sign in to their Intuit account when using QuickBooks Desktop. This is an added security to ensure that it's the admin who's logging in to QuickBooks because he/she can perform tasks that are only available to admin users. Pro and Premier users can choose to delay this action for up to 28 days but will always get a prompt like yours.
To get rid of the prompt, you can sign in to your Intuit account using these steps:

Thank you for the replay. Unfortunately that doesn't appear to be the cause of the problem. I have been signed in all along. I got a message today that my account has been suspended! Plus, the lag time of 8 seconds to make a new entry is driving me crazy. What else could this be?
Now I am completely locked out of my QB and cannot find a way to call support. I have tried the chat numerous times but nobody could help.

They have the tools and explain to you the details of why you're getting the prompt message.

I finally got in touch with level 2 support last week and they were able to fix the problem. The problem came back again today and I asked for level 2 support and was told I would get a call back. I got a call back from someone telling me to hold and they will connect me with someone. 17 minutes later the call dropped. When it was fixed last week, the level 2 support had me delete a file called "entitlement data store". That worked until today and now the problem has returned. I have spent several hours trying to get this fixed and now I seem to be caught in an endless loop. Please help. This is getting very old!

I'd like to redirect you to our Customer Care Support team. You can tell the representative that you've already had this case. This way, they can review it and pick up where you left off with the previous agent. They may require to delete the entitlement file and activate or register your account again.

We are being taken advantage of. The ridiculous price of an annual subscription. AND after I paid, still can't use my QB because they are locked due to nonpayment of renewal (and note, I was told before I ordered Desktop 2021 that I would not have to subscribe if I didn't want to .... by Intuit ... and now I have to pay or lose everything).
So ... I paid ... and now no one is there until (maybe) Monday to send me the email with instructions to reactivate my QB. Can't Chat Room folks send the email ???????????? And then I have to call and who knows what ????????

Login to your CAMPS and check your license status there. If you are still using QBD 2021, utilize the trial code for the time being. Otherwise, cancel your renewal and purchase a new one time license for QBD 2021.
