No and for cost of quickbooks I probably will find different company for 2024 as they are way too expensive for individuals/small business of just a few employees.

When I try to login it says I need to link my account so I try connecting through quickbooks to link to account but I get error message that it can't connect. Can't connect so cant link so I cant use program
If same problem my initial posting is about I have it where I try opening quickbooks pro desktop 2018 it tells me my account is not linked. I then tell it login so I can link account. QB gives me an error message saying cant connect. Since can't connect, can't link so can't use program. Any way to make 2018 operable? QB is way out of control with price so if I can't use my previous version I cant justify the cost. I use the program for bookkeeping. Enter and pay bills so I can generate P&L. If I cant get this resolved it's to,expensive to use intuit. Obviously intuit really doesn't care about SMALL busineses anymore

To explain further about the login issue - QuickBooks Desktop requires a functioning built-in browser to handle any online communication and connectivity in the background. This internal browser is utilized during the login process.
Previously, the built-in browser was not present because QuickBooks used to default to Internet Explorer for its online components. However, after Internet Explorer was discontinued, Intuit developed an integrated browser within QuickBooks Desktop itself to replace IE.
This means that any login and other online processes rely on QuickBooks' own embedded browser.
Please note that this update is only available in the 2020 and newer versions of QuickBooks Desktop. You can read more details about this in this article: Use Our Built-in Browser In QuickBooks Desktop.
Because QuickBooks Desktop 2018 is an already discontinued version, no new maintenance updates can be released for it. This means the built-in browser component cannot be added to QB Desktop 2018 retroactively.
With no way to install the needed browser, any outgoing and incoming online communications will fail in the 2018 version. This is what is causing the error when trying to log in - without the built-in browser, the login process cannot be completed.

I just bought a Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2018 digital download from Walmart Marketplace. I installed it and everything was working fine. then it erased all my registers. It starts over like it is a new company. All my registers for checking and accounts receivable are gone, Now, it won't even let me log onto Quickbooks. It has a screen that it won't let me get past. It says sign into Quickbooks company file, non-admin and admin, with my name pre installed but I can't get past that screen to work on Quickbooks.

I tried the above options and none of them worked. I think the problem might have been misunderstood though as it seems most of the resolutions were if program or filed didnt open.
The problem I am having is I open the program, then open company file, when I open file it brings me to login page saying I need to login and link to account in next 30 days. I fill in my user name as administrator then when I click next to get to password page it just remains spinning circle, I let it go for 3 days once. I even tried to start new company thinking since new with this version of quickbooks I might not need to "register" company but I get same problem. I seem to have problem with 2017 too but this is not required with 2014. Sadly quickbooks has become too expensive for true small companies to justify. I no longer need payroll so most current version isn't issue, I would like to use a previous version. I have back to quickbooks 5.0. I have used close to 30 years but intuit no longer wants businesses like mine.
The picture doesn't do much but video not allowed, white screen, the black dots spin in circle waiting to get to password screen

If I use alt+F4 all the time will the 30 days not apply to existing company? If so I can go through all the extra steps and start new in QB2014 then convert to 2018 and bypass every time I open company.
I have tried so many things that I am now getting error for password with any qbw file. I have tried forgot password on these and have had luck with 1 I have gotten various errors errors, can't verify, check internet, try later.

I haven't seen replies I posted long ago showing so I am not sure if they posted or anyone saw them so I thought I would try again. Are you saying due to IE 11 no longer being supported QB2018 is no longer usable? What if installed on computer with IE 11 and no microsoft edge?
I have tried several suggestions and am now having a problem that passwords saying not correct. I have succeeded resetitng 1 but get various errors with the other 2 and cannot reset them
