Thank you.  I do have the enhanced payroll as well.  

The instructions for using Edit, Preferences, General, My Preferences didn't work for us.  We have '23 and recently paid for the annual subscription but everything I have tried will not get us to a point where I see anything remotely related to updating to the '24 version.  

I appreciate you performing the steps to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) subscription, Matt. I'm here to share another way to achieve this.

We can use the Discovery Hub to upgrade QBDT to the 2024 version. This feature facilitates a seamless transition to the latest software available.

Here's how:

1. Click Discovery Hub at the upper right corner.
2. Select Upgrade to QuickBooks 2024.
3. Tap Proceed to upgrade, then Upgrade now.
4. If you want both programs, select Keep old version on my computer. Leave blank otherwise.
5. Once done, select Open QuickBooks.

If you still haven't found the upgrade option, I suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. This way, they can help you upgrade the program and check the cause of the problem. I'll show you how.

1. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help from the Help menu.
2. Click Contact Us.
3. Type in a short description of your concern, then Continue.
4. Choose a way to connect with support.

We were scammed into QB Enterprise Platinum for 5600.00 per year and not given any information about their QB 24 version or we could upgrade to 23 we have to pay a whopping 460.00 a month versus the payroll subscription of 560.00 for a year for each company file so if 1120 to 5600 isn’t a scam then I would appreciate anything from anyone who has done this before finding out the truth the truth is you can purchase 23 versions for 4600 plus

Man!!! Im right there with ya.  Ridiculous yearly 'subscription' fees.  

I PAID $649 on april 9, and now I get a pop up saying I need to download the 2024 version to replace my "unsupported" 2022 version???????

However, it is important to note that the QBDT 2022 version will be discontinued after May 31, 2025, since the program has a three-year lifespan. This includes all versions of Pro, Premier, Mac, and Enterprise solutions. 
 
If you won't upgrade to a higher version on or before May 31, 2025, access to live technical support will be cut off, and you won't receive the latest critical security patches and updates which are essential for maintaining the security and functionality of your software.

To avoid any disruption in service and to continue benefiting from the latest features and security updates, Intuit strongly recommends upgrading to the most recent version of QuickBooks Desktop before the discontinuation date. This proactive approach will ensure that your business operations remain smooth and secure.

Given that you have 1 terabyte of free space on your hard drive, you should have sufficient room to upgrade to QBDT 2024. With that, I suggest utilizing the QuickBooks Tool Hub to troubleshoot and resolve the issue you encountered. Here's how:

1. Close QuickBooks and download the latest version (1.6.0.8) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere you can easily find. Note: If you've installed Tool Hub before, you can find out which version you have. Select the Home tab. The version will be on the bottom.
2. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
3. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
4. Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub when the installation finishes.

Login to CAMPS and find your subscription there. Then try to upgrade from inside CAMPS.
