I am trying to figure out whether or not I need two hosting solutions for Quickbooks. This configuration was set up before I joined the company via a consultant. Currently we are using Right Networks in order to access Quickbooks. I've found it to be rather cumbersome to be honest.
In looking at our Quickbooks monthly invoice, I see a charge for Silver Edition (Enterprise) with Hosting as well as another line item for Enterprise Solutions Hosting. Am I paying for hosting multiple times?
To be clear about our business, we have about 4 users (one main user, the others are not in the system much other than to grab reports) and are a Professional Services company. We do need hosting services and we have to use a desktop version for compliance purposes. Other than this however, I am not sure why we'd be using Right Networks if we can just download QB to our desktops and we are paying to have our data hosted via Intuit.
Hi there, lindsayblythe. Thanks for reaching out and providing detailed information about your concern.
Once you purchase QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise subscription using the Monthly Payment Plan or QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise with cloud access, its support with cloud access is provided by Right Networks.
To verify if you're paying hosting multiple times, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and check your concerns related to billing which I'm unable to do here since this is a public forum.
To reach them, here's how:
Go to the Help menu at the top.
Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
Type Contact Us in the search box. Then, click on Contact Us at the bottom.
Select the way you wish to connect with support.
You can also check out this link for more information: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support. Ensure to review their support hours, so you'll know when agents are available.
