Good morning, @addison5.
I'm more than happy to assist in getting this integration removed for you!
Note: You'll need to be logged into the Admin account, and be the user that originally installed the integration.
Here's what you'll do:
You can read more on this process by checking out this article: Disconnect an app and change subscription.
Let me know if I can help with anything further! Have a fantastic Monday.
The app is already uninstalled and disconnected according to the app section. But when I click on the time tab, it still tells me to access through T sheets or quick book time
Thanks for the update, @addison5.
I'm not sure I totally understand. Are you trying to use the weekly timesheet within QuickBooks Online, without QuickBooks Time? Would you be able to explain a bit more what you're trying to do, and share a screenshot of what youre seeing? This would be really helpful in me determining what are the best next steps.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Screen Shot attached. I tried Tsheets, when I signed in for the trial the system connected the two. I have decided to use a different time sheet app, but the QBO won't let me detach.
Good morning, @addison5! Thank you for providing that screenshot, it's very helpful so we can see what's going on.
I was able to look up your QuickBooks Time trial, and it's definitely inactive/expired. Our system also shows that it's canceled, so that's good! I see you're referring to the Time Tab on the left menu. That tab is specifically for QuickBooks Time, not all time tracking apps. You can definitely integrate with any other third-party app, but it'll be managed from outside of the Time tab.
I also reached out to our QuickBooks Time team and they verified that sometimes, even once canceled, that page doesn't update and will state you're connected. For now, you can disregard that page altogether and it won't affect anything else in your account.
Again, thank you for taking the time to explain your issue further and provide that screenshot. It was very helpful!
Feel free to reply to this post with any more questions or concerns. We're all eager to help. :)
I believe Addison is referring to the original QBO time entry. I have disconnected and canceled my trial of sheets and would like to go back to entering my time via time entry on QBO. It is not allowing me to do so because time entry keeps redirecting to tsheets, which I do not want to use (or am subscribed to now). How do you get back the original time entry when clicking "track time" from the dashboard or from the Time section in the navigation bar?
Hey there, @devsecops.
Thanks for following the thread and sharing your concerns. I'm happy to lend a hand with disconnecting your QuickBooks Time account from your QuickBooks Online account.
Before we begin, please know that you'll need to be logged into the Admin account, and be the user that originally installed the integration.
Let's get started:
That should do it. For more details about this process, check out: Disconnect an app and change subscription.
Please let me know if you're successful in disconnecting using these steps. I want to ensure that you're back to business. Have a wonderful day ahead!
I believe this was direction you provided earlier in the comments. This does not restore original functionality. If your normal workflow included using the QBO time entry via the Time in the navigation bar or Track Time in the dashboard, it does not get restored after disconnecting QuickBooks Time and canceling your subscription. After speaking with customer support from both QuickBooks and QuickBooks time, the only way to go back to using the QBO time entry is to use "+ NEW" in the navigation pane, under EMPLOYEES use "single time activity" or "Weekly timesheet", which is what I needed and was used to going to via Time in the navigation bar and Track Time in the dashboard.
Again, using QBO time entry will completely break in the aforementioned workflows if you decide to try out or use Quickbooks Times (TSheets) and decide that it is not for you and want to switch back.
Hey there @devsecops.
Thanks for following up with me and sharing additional details of your concerns.
QuickBooks Time has replaced the tab for Time Center. But no worries, you should be able to access the same functionality of Time right from QuickBooks Online. Let me walk you through the steps below.
That should do it. Take a look at Enter a single time activity timesheet for more details about this process.
Let me know if you need further assistance. I'll be here every step of the way. Take care!

I am having the same issue, have been back and fourth With QBO and QBT and cannot resolve, have been told they would call me back with a superviser numerous times, never do and just hang up.
My QBT is cancelled and removed.
although QBO time overview says i am still connect and unable to see my teams times come in from third party APP knowify.
QBO has not provided any support. or follow up in regards to case.
providing a product but not able to fix it.
still waiting for call back and been over 2 weeks...
may been time to look for another provider, here Xero has great customer/tech support.
This doesn't work. Quickbooks time is not listed under my apps.
Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Airtec Energy and av1600.
The Time tab was specifically built for QuickBooks Time and isn't meant to support any other time tracking apps. I was able to locate your account and can confirm it's definitely cancelled.
@av1600
I was also able to pull up your account on my end and can see you're subscribed to our payroll bundle. This includes QuickBooks Time in the bundle, so you won't see an app for it under My Apps.
If you'd prefer to have QuickBooks Time show up under My Apps, you can change your QuickBooks Online Payroll subscription .
Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any additional questions. I'll be here to help. Have a lovely day!
This is so confusing and such bad programming, to leave the QBT is connected message! I spent HOURS with support both from QBO and QBT without any resolution, being bounced back and forth. It was like I was talking Martian to them! (chats and voice calls). You might want to train them...
So if I understand, once we've tried QBT, the attached screenshot sticks forever... and then we can add time manually (or through other apps), but nothing will show in the Time tab. We can only see the times entered under Invoicing/Unbilled activity?
Hello there, @charlesmtl.
I've got some tips on how you can manage time in QuickBooks.
To manually enter and manage time, you'll need to log into QuickBooks Time. Here's how:
In addition, make sure to log in to the marketplace and navigate the MyApps section to completely disconnect any application to QBO.
I'm adding this article for more information about QuickBooks Time: QuickBooks Time and QuickBooks Online integration FAQs .
Please keep us updated by leaving a comment below. It's my pleasure to always assist you. Take care!
This is also the issue that I am having. Also having 0 luck with support - extremely frustrating & disappointing.
Hi - We use TSheets for staff to enter their actual hours in TSheets and then want to manually enter the time into QB Online as we don't bill all time. How can i do this? Currently it's importing the actual hours worked which isn't what we need
Hi there, Janice.
Once QuickBooks Time (QB Time) integrates with QuickBooks Online (QBO), it'll automatically import any new or edited information in QB Time to QBO.
If you don't want to import time to QBO, you may want to disconnect your QB Time account. Here's how:
To learn more about integration preferences in QB Time, see this article: About QuickBooks integration preferences in QuickBooks Time.
For future reference, here's an article you can check for guidance in managing time: Track and manage time in QuickBooks Time.
