Is anyone having issues linking bank account?

Let me share some details about on how you can resolve your linking bank account issue, sarah-hayden-cla.

First, can you please provide us which specific bank are you trying to add or have you receive any error messages when you're trying to link your bank account? I'd appreciate any further details so I can present accurate information.

In the meantime, I suggest logging into your QuickBooks account using a different/private browser and connect your business account from there. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and private browsing doesn't store local files or cache. You can use these shortcuts keys for quick navigation:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

Once logged in, try to link your bank account. If it works, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This helps the browser to function efficiently. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

I've got these articles for reference:

Please let me know if you're able to connect  your bank. I'm just a post away to help you some more. Take care.

Is anyone having issues linking bank account?

Yes, for a month I haven't been able to connect to BOA. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. I have tried connecting in an incognito window and it still didn't work. I get error code 147 and so far no one can tell me what the issue is.

Is anyone having issues linking bank account?

Thanks for joining the thread and sharing the troubleshooting steps you've made, @Mareea2.

There are the following scenarios why you're unable to connect your bank account. Here are some:

  • The bank may not be a participating bank.
  • Your bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • The bank is having system maintenance.
  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one or try all possible bank URLs.

You can reach out to your bank and check for any maintenance updates. You can also request them to establish a connection with QuickBooks. If everything is good from your bank's side, make sure to select the correct bank name when connecting the account.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions on the left panel.
  2. Select Link account or Add account.
  3. In the Connect your bank or credit card to bring in your transactions field, enter the URL listed for your bank.
  4. Follow the on-screen instruction to connect your account.

If you're still getting the same result, reach out to our customer support. This way, they can provide you with further assistance in connecting your account to QuickBooks.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transactions

Once they're in, you can now match and categorize them. They will go into your accounts after you review them.

Should you need any additional assistance connecting your bank account, you can leave a comment below. I'll be sure to get back to you, @Mareea2.
