My online banking does not have a company Id. How do I link my account without that information.

I have easy steps to find your Company ID in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

Every QuickBooks account has unique. This information is one of the most important business information in your account for you to link other accounts. There are two steps to get your company ID is either pressing the keys outlined below or going to the Billing & subscription page. 

• Windows: Ctrl + Alt +  or Ctrl + Alt + ?
• Mac: Control + Option + ?

Please note that accessing the Billing and subscription page will need admin rights.

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Account and Settings. 
2. Choose Billing and subscription. 
3. Company ID is located on the upper left side.

Once you have it, you can now link another account to your QBO account.

This does not work. In the company id box on the bank account link page, Quick Books shows the name of my bank in the company id box. Entering my Quickbooks Company id number does not work. This is extremely confusing and frustrating. If the Quickbooks company id number is what we should enter, then it should clearly state "QUICKBOOKS Company ID number". It makes it seem it like the number should be something assigned by your BANK.
