Thanks for visiting the Community, @shanbala99. I can see the urgency to connect your bank account in your QuickBooks.
QuickBooks Online US version only supports US-based banks. This is why you're unable to locate the Access Bank account in Lagos Nigeria on the available list.
I'd suggest you sign-up for the QuickBooks Global version in this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/global/. This way, you can search and connect Nigerian-based bank account and start downloading your transactions automatically.
For future reference, read through this help article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online. It also includes links to different topics that can help you with your banking tasks.
Feel free to message again if you have additional questions. We're always delighted to help you more.
Hi,
Unable to merge the inventory items in quickbooks. Please find attached screenshot for your reference.
Is there any other option to merge the items or to change the item name in all the invoices
Thanks
Thanks for coming back to us, @shanbala99.
Currently, we're unable to merge inventory items in QuickBooks Online. You can only merge non-inventory items and services because these don't have quantities.
Please know that I'm taking this as feedback and submit it to our product engineers. It can be approved if it reaches the number of customers requesting it.
To change the item name in all of the invoices, You can update the item name in the Products and Services.
Let me show you how:
There the invoices were sent will automatically update the name of the items as well as the saved invoices.
You can refer to this article for more information combining and removing product/service: Remove or merge a product or service.
To merge some accounts, customers, and vendors, you can check this article: How to merge accounts, customers, and vendors. It includes merging accounts with reconciliation reports.
Please tell me if you have additional questions. I'm always here to help you. Take care!
Great!!! Thanks for the reply.
Hello Quickbooks Team,
Having a similar challenge from Nigeria. I registered as an accountant/bookkeeper and did not realise I had signed up on the US version until i got to bank feeds and could not find any Nigerian Banks as well.
I followed the link you provided: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/global/ but I keep getting an error message... which i have attached.
Could you please advise.
Thanks for giving me additional information about your issue, altyne.
You may encounter errors like this when the internet files are interrupting the connection and cache data storage is full. To fix this, I suggest opening QuickBooks Online (QBO) on incognito/private browser.
Using an incognito mode prevents internet files that make QBO vulnerable to errors. Here are the supported browsers and the corresponding keyboard shortcuts:
If this fixes the error, you can now clear your browser's cache. Clearing it optimize browser performance, and loads new cache data. An alternative way is to use another supported browser if it didn't work on the first attempt.
Then, you can refer to the help article provided by my colleague, katherinejoyceO to guide you in connecting your bank.
Count me in whenever you need assistance in accessing QuickBooks global version. I'll be around the corner. Take care.
You may try opening QBO Global version for Nigeria

hello, if I switch from us to global, do i need to pay again?
Hello there, @StephAnyam.
I'm here to share with you the details on what will happen if you'll going to switch your QuickBooks Online account fro the US to the global version.
When stitching your account from the US version to global, you'll need to cancel your current account and subscribe to a new one. That said, you need to pay for the version that you'll be subscribing to.
Here's a link that provides information on how to cancel your account and on what will happen to your data after the cancellation: Learn how to cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.
Lastly, make sure to select the correct country upon changing your account. The article attached got you covered in performing this process: QuickBooks Online is available in many countries around the world.
I'm just a reply away if you need further assistance, @StephAnyam. Just drop a reply below. Thanks for coming, and have a lovely day!
Prior to cancel your QBO US account, you may self migrate the data by a 3rd party tool I have mentioned earlier or purchase a 3rd party migration service.
Hello Team QuickBooks,
Please can you kindly advise which Nigerian bank enables automatic integration and automatic download of transactions upon connection with QuickBooks online ?
Thank you.
Let me add a few information, Mast9rjay.
If you're using the QuickBooks Online US version, we're unable to support Nigerian banks.
You'll want to subscribe to the International or Nigerian version. This way, you can enable automatic integration and download.
Once you're subscribed to the Global version, you can search for your bank account and connect it.
If there's anything else that you need, don't hesitate to let us know. We'll get back to you as soon as we can. Take care!
If you are using QB Online Global version for Nigeria, you should be able to connect to First Bank of Nigeria. I noticed Ecobank Nigeria (Beta) is also available in the list.
