Every quarter we have this issue that the credit card element of the bank feed (there are 2 which fall under the same account) doesn't work. This relates to a Natwest Business account, and it was set up with QB over 2 years ago.
It is usually just the credit card that fails, the regular business account fails much less commonly (but still encounters issues now and then).
I'm given code 103, even though the sign-in info has never changed, and then when i re-enter the correct info, i am given 179 even if the account has not been accessed for days.
Sometimes it fixes itself after hours of re-attempts over several days, and logging in and out, but who has time for that honestly?
i have tried trying to log in on a different incognito page, and there is nothing changed in the sign-in info. it just goes round in circles citing 103 and then 179.
very frustrating.
Our vat return is due and we will incur a fine if this isn't resolved asap.

Error 179 indicates that someone tries to log into the bank’s site on your computer. When this happens, your Financial Institution prevents you from downloading transactions. To fix this issue, I still recommend following the solution shared by @ReymondO.
