Do we get monthly bank statements for our Quickbooks checking account so we can reconcile the account each month?

Yes, you can get monthly bank statements from your QuickBooks Checking account, @taoproperties.

Here's how to see your QuickBooks Checking monthly statements:

  1. Go to Business overview, select Cash flow, then choose QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Select Manage.
  3. View your QuickBooks Checking account and select Monthly Statements.

I've added some references to manage your QuickBooks Checking account. This includes a way to get your account routing number or PIN:

Once the statement is ready, you can now reconcile your account in QuickBooks.

You can always get back to me if you have any other concerns with managing your accounts in QBO. Just leave a comment below. Have a lovely day!

Hey, new Community members!

I'm so glad we were able to help you find your monthly statements for your QuickBooks Checking account, @taoproperties. Feel free to reach back out if you have any further questions.

Let's work together and figure out why you're unable to see the Manage option within the QuickBooks Checking page, @sherryhi92

To narrow down the cause of this problem, can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing after click the QuickBooks Checking portion? This will help me determine the best solution for your business.

I'll be back around shortly to check in with you!

How long does it take statements to post after the monthly closing date?  My client is applying for lending and their statement runs through the 24th but 2 days later we still don't have a statement.  Can you tell me how long it takes so I can update their lender?

Thanks for joining this thread, Vicki888.

Statement Cycles for QuickBooks Checking accounts begin on the date Intuit approves the account through our registration process and ends the day before its one month anniversary of the account opening.

Accounts that were opened on the 29th, 30th, or 31st of any month have their first Statement Cycle adjusted to start on the 1st of the subsequent month. Each cycle will end on this same day of the month.

After an account's Statement Cycle ends, its statement for that month will become available in QuickBooks Checking.

Here's how to view monthly statements:

  1. Go to Business overview, Cash flow, then QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. View the account and select its Monthly Statements option.

I've also included a couple detailed resources about working with QuickBooks Checking accounts which may come in handy moving forward:

I'll be here to help if there's any questions. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you for your fast reply.  The ending date is the 24th...it is now the 26th and every day the lender is calling me expecting a statement so the underwriters can finalize the loan.  Is there a main bank website where we can access the checking account or is it only accessible within QuickBooks Online?  They said I could send the "activity" but even that is cumbersome trying to print from a small access window within QuickBooks.  This is a flaw in the account IMHO.  It would be nice to be able to access the activity in a full view and printable format.

Thanks for getting back, @Vicki888.

Right now, the checking account can be accessed by opening QuickBooks Online using a mobile app or through a browser. What you've suggested is a great idea to be added in the program.

I can see how these options would help you in managing your business. Therefore, I'll take note of them as a suggestion.

You can also send this feedback to our developers. That way, they can review it and most likely add it to one of our future updates. Here's how to send your suggestions:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top and select Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then, click Next to submit feedback.

Since your monthly statement cycle was delayed, I'd recommend reaching out to our Merchant Service Team. That way, they can review your account and provide you with further help.

You can also reach out to them by calling the number on the back of your QuickBooks Debit Card.

Once the statement is ready, you can now reconcile your account in QuickBooks.

If you have any other concerns, feedback, or questions, don't hesitate and come back to the Community. I'm always here to help you. Have a great day.

Do we get monthly bank statements for our Quickbooks checking account so we can reconcile the account each month?

I have been on Chat for over an hour trying to view QB Checking Account statements. The view statements section only shows back to Feb 2022. There is no place to hit "Manage" on the Cash Flow screen when you choose the QB Checking.

Hi danielle8, I appreciate the screenshot and for giving your time to contact our Chat Support.

The Manage option should be visible after we select QuickBooks Checking. Since the statement only generates details on February 2022, I'd like to know when this behavior occurs. Does it happen recently?

Sometime QuickBooks will not perform well if there's a browser-related issue. If we haven't tried viewing your QuickBooks Checking account in a private browser with our chat support, we can follow the shortcut keys below.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If it works, let's clear cache and temporary internet files to optimize the browser's performance. We can use this article as a guide: Delete browser cache and Intuit-specific cookies. Another way is to use supported web browsers in QuickBooks Online.

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari
  • Opera
  • Samsung

Still, follow the same steps to view your monthly statement:

  1. Go to Business overview, select Cash flow.
  2. Select QuickBooks Checking and click Manage.
  3. View your QuickBooks Checking account and select Monthly Statements.

Also, we can review and use these articles for our detailed resources about working with QuickBooks Checking accounts.

That should help. Post another one below if you need further assistance viewing your monthly statements after following the information above. I'll make sure to continue to help you and get this resolved. Take care!

Thank you for joining the thread, @hweatherspoon.

I want to ensure you can find the Manage option on the QuickBooks Checking account page.

As mentioned by my colleague SarahannC above, the option should appear on your QuickBooks Checking account page. Since it's missing from there, you can perform the troubleshooting steps shared above if you haven't yet.

If you get the same result, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can further check on this matter and provide additional troubleshooting steps to get this Manage option visible. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  4. Select Contact Us.

Come back to this post and let me know how it goes, @hweatherspoon. I'll make sure this is taken care of.

There is no "Manage" button. Is there another way to access statements?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, AO13.

I can connect you with the appropriate team to address your bank statement concerns. I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Checking Support Team.

They have tools to investigate why the Manage button is missing from your account. Once the permanent fix is available, they guide you through the process of how to implement it.

You can check the number on the back of your QuickBooks Debit Card to get the contact information. Reaching out to them ensures that you no longer have issues getting your bank statements.

I know my colleagues already shared this article: Use the QuickBooks debit card to get your cash. But I'm adding it again for your reference. It covers topics such as card replacement, new debit card activation, and how to use your virtual debit card.

In addition, we have compiled resources to assist users in efficiently handling any accounting-related activities in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To access the self-help guide, go here.

If you have any additional QuickBooks concerns or questions about managing your bank statements, click the Reply button and enter them in the field box. I'll be available to answer your questions. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Do we get monthly bank statements for our Quickbooks checking account so we can reconcile the account each month?

I talked to Customer Support. ONLY the Primary Admin has the manage link.

I am the accountant and I need access to the statements. This is currently NOT an option in QBO. Makes it very difficult to do my job.

For QBO Accountants, I've found the statements under the Reconciliation section.

  1. Click on the Gear icon, then under Tools, click on Reconcile.

  2. Click on the Accounts drop-down menu and select the QuickBooks bank account.

  3. You should see View Statements next to the account dropdown.

See the screenshot attached for reference.

Hello, anavroofingdesigners.

I like to ensure that we are on the same page. What statement are you referring to? Are you referring to the Bank Statement? If so, I'll walk you through how to view your older statement in QBO.

Here's how:

  1. Select Cash flow.
  2. Choose the specific month you want to view the statement.
  3. Click Filters to modify the data. Then Apply filters
  4. Then you can download the report.

I'm also including these articles about cash flow in QuickBooks Online that you can use for future references.

Do we get monthly bank statements for our Quickbooks checking account so we can reconcile the account each month?

The Quickbooks checking account bank statements that you can download from the manage page of Cash Flow (Quickbooks Checking) only go back until maybe the middle of 2021.  I was wondering if there is a way to request older statements from when the quickbooks checking opened.  I tried the representatives through chat and no one seems to know where to direct me.

Thank you

We closed our QBO Checking account, and we sign on to view the statements but it says to call the number on the back of the card due to the account being closed.  I have called multiple times and no one is able to help.  It Before I waste any more time on the phone, does anyone know how I can view our business QBO checking monthly statements from last year?  Our accountant needs them for taxes, obviously.  Thanks in advance!  -Shaun

Thank you for your response.  I just went through what you recommended.  The chat assistant said she can not help because it is a Green Dot bank issue.  I was told to call the same number I called yesterday for over 3 hours with no answers. I was on hold, transferred and hung up on. I can't have all these unbillable hours again today.  Please advise who I need to call / contact.  Thanks

Do we get monthly bank statements for our Quickbooks checking account so we can reconcile the account each month?

I've tried reaching out to Green Dot directly, but they do not recognize my QuickBooks Checking card#. Therefore, I am unable to register my card to create an online account. Which means I am unable to reach anyone via phone or chat without a recognized account/card#. How do we get support for QuickBooks Checking accounts???
