I've got you covered, jamessinka.
I'm here to make sure you can add your Venmo transactions to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app.
You can add your recent transactions if you connect your bank and credit card accounts to QBSE. Otherwise, I suggest using your mobile device's web browser to import your Venmo transactions from a CSV file format.
Here's how:
For more details about this process, please refer to this article: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
On the other hand, please visit this article if you want to manually add single transactions to QBSE: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Additionally, please review what transactions you've added, check for duplicates, and categorize your transactions before putting them into QuickBooks: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
If you have any other questions about adding transactions to the QBSE mobile app, feel free to comment below. I'll be happy to help you further. Take care, and have a great day!

are you folks working on a way to treat Venmo credit card transactions like any other credit card? Id like to avoid having to import transactions and just have the credit card account linked up & synced up like all my other credit cards do.
Thanks for joining this thread, @kbby. We have valuable information here you can use to integrate your Venmo credit card transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). And we're more than happy to guide you on how to do it.
Venmo account is one of the bank accounts listed where you can connect it to QBSE. It allows you to skip manual data entry and download recent transactions automatically.
To connect your Venmo credit card account in QBSE, follow the steps below:
Once successfully connected, QBSE will now automatically download your recent bank transactions.
After that, you can utilize these articles to categorize transactions in QBSE:
We're thankful to you, @kbby, for choosing QBSE as your partner in tracking your finances. We'll always be here to guide you on how to use this financial medium. Just click the reply button below if you have questions. We'll answer as soon as possible. Keep safe, and have a good day.
The current Venmo integration does not appear to support Venmo credit card (this is a separate product, it's a credit card not a cash account).
Hi slr478,
Currently, Venmo does not support the integration of all of their account types.
You can make a request to add additional account types, which will let our engineers know about your preferences. However, it's important to understand that banks and other financial institutions have their own considerations. To ensure that Venmo is aware of the unsupported account type in QBO online banking, you may also provide feedback on Venmo's pages regarding this matter.
As a workaround, you can upload transactions, allowing you to continue managing them on the Banking page. Then, you can reconcile your account after adding your transactions to QuickBooks.
Please don't hesitate to go back to this thread if you have more questions about online banking. I'm just right here to continue helping you.
Thanks for the info! I submitted an integration request in Quickbooks and also a request to Venmo to support transaction exports. There appears to be a lack of any sort of transaction export capability for Venmo credit card. It's essentially pdf only right now.
It looks like this is still a challenge. I was planning on using my venmo credit card and wanted to input transactions. Currently it online allows you to import Venmo cash transactions and does not support the credit card account. Has there been a request to the engineers to address this?
I understand that you'd want to add your Venmo Credit Card account, scottaguiar.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) offers a convenient way to connect your bank accounts through the Transactions menu. However, certain financial institutions have their own set of rules and considerations when it comes to adding additional account types, which results in being unable to connect the account to QBO. Thus, if connecting your account is currently unavailable, I suggest submitting a request to your bank regarding this. This request will allow the bank to review your account and determine if it's eligible for connection to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Here's how:
Alternatively, you can manually add your transactions in QBO by following these steps:
After importing your transactions, you can now categorize and reconcile them so they always match your bank and credit card statements.

When I search Venmo under add bank it says that the bank doesn’t exist. How do I add Venmo to my quickbooks?
I am not seeing the Venmo integration option whatsoever. I would love for quickbooks to be able to pull in my Venmo data as well as my Venmo credit card transactions.
One of the reasons you're unable to find your bank is that your bank has multiple names on our list, Cole. What we can do is ensure we selected the correct listing.
If you can't find your bank when you search, ensure that the spelling is the same as what appears on your bank's website or enter your bank's URL into the search bar. Then proceed to the instructions below:
If the steps above don't work, open your QuickBooks (QB) account in a private browser or incognito mode to see if this issue is related to your browser.
Additionally, to avoid interruptions in your workflow, I will provide resources that'll help you continue your work:
Furthermore, you can take advantage of our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted services anytime if you require further assistance in connecting your bank account in QB or other related concerns.
You can circle back if you require additional help in connecting Venmo to your QB account. I'd be glad to help.
Unfortunately it’s still not showing up! Venmo isn’t a bank they partner with banks so it makes for a weird situation. When I search Venmo it doesn’t show up and it’s not a spelling issue.
You've invested significant time following the troubleshooting steps, and I appreciate your efforts. Since this thread mentioned both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed/Solopreneur, I'll provide separate approaches for each product. Let's work together so you can successfully connect your Venmo account, Cole.
The steps and information provided by my colleague are for QuickBooks Online users. Since you've already gone through the troubleshooting steps and Venmo still isn't showing up on your list, I recommend contacting our live support team for a deeper examination. Our experts can arrange a screen-sharing session if necessary.
If you're using QuickBooks Solopreneur, we can submit a request for a bank or credit card connection, as Venmo is unsupported yet.
Here's the step-by-step guide:
While you're still requesting a bank connection, you can consider manually uploading your transactions into the system to track them.
Moreover, I'm sharing some helpful articles related to QuickBooks Online and Solopreneur for effectively managing your transactions:
With the information above, you'll be able to manage your transactions and categorize them. I'm still around to back you up if you need further guidance or clarification.
