Let me add some info about multi-currencies in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The Multi-currency feature in QBO allows you to assign specific account types for the following:
Once turned on, all income and expense accounts will base on the home currency. To have a sales account with Canadian Dollar (CAD) as the currency, you'll have to create a customer using that said currency.Here's how:
Once done, you can now create a sales account in QBO using CAD as the currency. Just select the customer associated to it.

If you deal with multi currency transactions, you have another options:
1. Utilize this payment service to release an invoice and accept payment in USD. Your customer will pay it in CAD.
