The first link in your reply doesn't address ol-222, everything but. The second link in your reply might work however I would definitely need assistance doing a test company underneath my current company.
Your first link does not address OL-22, every OL issue but that one. I would need help with 2nd link. I have not been able to figure out how to set up a sub company within my current company. I can't change or can't figure out how to change the bank feed.
I appreciate you for coming back to the thread and clarifying your concern, berwick12. I've got steps to ensure you can add a test company under your existing company and change the bank feed efficiently.
Beforehand, please know that QBDT 2020 is already discontinued. With this, you won't have access to live technical support if you run into problems or any of the other Intuit services that can be integrated with the program. Also, discontinued versions won't receive the latest critical security patches and updates and that's the reason you're unable to fix any errors and issues that you encountered on the said version.
Then, you can go to the No Company Open window to start doing or creating a test company underneath your current company.
Here's how:
On the other hand, you can follow the steps below so you can change the bank feed or switch between banking modes on your end. Before doing so, make sure to update QuickBooks to the latest release and you're in single-user mode.

Thank you for the quick response, I won't quote my 1st, or subsequent message, but I'm currently running 2023 and the "fix" for the ol-222 with the fidir.txt didn't work. I figured out how to delete it from quickbooks 2023 and add the fidir.txt. The instructions are inaccurate and written by someone who only uses a PC. If anyone needs help with the ol-222 fidir "Fix" let me know. If you, "Intuit" would like for me to rewrite that page for you it'd be happy to.

QBD 2021 is outdated and the bank feature is disabled. If you can still use it now, consider it good luck. If the problem persists, you can use the trial version of QBD 2022 to run the bank feed as a workaround.
