How long will it take for my payroll to get deposited into employees' bank accounts?

Hello there, nancy114.

The direct deposit will be posted on employee's account depends on how you set it up.

If you opted on a 5-day lead time, the direct deposit will be posted five (5) business days after you submit your payroll to us. However, if you have a 1-day lead time, it will be deposited the day after the submission of payroll.

I've also added this article as your guide in paying payroll taxes: Pay and file payroll taxes online.

Stay in touch with me if you have other payroll concerns. I'm always right here to help you.

Let's to go to the Payroll settings to check your direct deposit lead time. I’m here to help make sure you can do this with just a few clicks.

Here’s how:

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), tap the Gear icon and choose Payroll settings under Your Company.
  2. Navigate to the Direct Deposit section to check the funding time ( above your direct deposit limit).

For more details, check the following article: View or change your direct deposit funding time. This resource will guide you on how to get a faster funding time and change one.

If you encounter any hurdles when using the direct deposit feature, this resource contains solutions on how to solve them: Fix direct deposit issues.

If you have additional questions about direct deposit and payroll, leave a comment below. I’m more than happy to answer them for you. Wishing you and your business continued success.
