How to change banking info for employee once submitted.

Changing the banking info of your employee in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP) is my priority, @chris250.

Based on your description above, it seems that you want to change your employee's banking info after submitting a direct deposit (DD) payroll. In QBOP, you'll first have to void the DD paycheck (depending on your processing time) before correcting and updating an employee's banking info. Make sure to do it within the processing time. When it's already beyond, your payroll will be processed, and we’re unable to stop the direct deposit.

Once you're done, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu.
  2. Select Employees.
  3. Choose the name of the employee.
  4. Click Edit (Pencil icon) next to Pay
  5. Go to the How do you want to pay [employee]? section.
  6. Enter the new bank account information.
  7. Select Save80.PNG

Then, recreate the employee's paycheck. You can refer to this article for the detailed steps: Create paychecks in online payroll.

Also, you can invite your employees to see their pay stubs and W-2s and let them add their personal info for your records. To learn more about this, I'd recommend checking out this article: Invite your employees to QuickBooks Workforce.

On top of that, QBO provides payroll reports so you can get a closer look at your business's finances and employees. For the complete list of available reports, you can refer to this article: Run payroll reports.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have other payroll concerns or inquiries about managing employees in QuickBooks. Drop a comment below, and I'll gladly help. Take care always, @chris250.
