I need to verify my new bank account for direct deposit. I do not have the option to enter my two small amount for verification

I have some troubleshooting steps that you can follow to enter test debits, here's how:

1. Go to the Employees menu at the top.
2. Select My Payroll Service and tap Activate Direct Deposit.
3. Sign in using your Intuit Account login.
4. In the Payroll Info section, pick Verify under Direct Deposit Bank Account.
5. In the Verify bank account window, enter amounts and confirm your payroll PIN.
6. Hit Submit.

will I get a notification in QB to verify my account?

The notification feature to verify the direct deposit account is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. After the initial setup, check your bank two days after to see the small transactions.

Once you have the information handy, let’s go the Verify bank account page to enter the amount. Adding the test withdrawals is a breeze.

Here’s how:

1. Go to the Employees menu at the top menu bar and click on the My Payroll Service option.
2. Then, select Activate Direct Deposit.
3. Choose Enter Test Debits to access the QuickBooks Direct Deposit page.
   
4. From there, key in the amount in the field boxes and then create a direct deposit PIN (Personal Identification Number).
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to make one.
6. Then, hit the Submit button.

The window appears to enter the bank debits; however their are no debits from the account less than $1.00

It could be up to 1-3 days business days to get your Checking account set up for the Direct Deposit. You'll use this account to pay your employees and your payroll taxes once the set up is finished.

After you provide your initial bank information, Intuit makes 2 small transactions (deposit and withdrawal) of an amount less than $1.00. You'll see this in your Bank statement from Intuit. When you find it, enter the amount in QuickBooks Desktop to verify the account.

Here's how:

1. Select the Employees tab.
2. Choose My Payroll Service.
3. Click Activate Direct Deposit.
4. Tick Enter Test Debits.

However, if it is already 2-3 days and still not seeing the transactions, I suggest contacting our Payroll support. They have tools to pull up your account and verify what is the issue.
