It's nice to have you here in the Community JANICEEEEE.

Authorized users are individuals who are authorized to access your company's Customer Account and represent your company when interacting with Intuit.

The steps below will help you with logging into My Account page:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2. Select how you would like to receive your confirmation code. And select Continue. If you no longer have access to the email listed, select the option Confirm my account a different way.confirm account information in QuickBooks My Account
  3. Retrieve the confirmation code. It can sometimes take a few moments for the code to arrive.  You may also want to check your bulk/junk/spam mail folder to see if the code went there. If the code does not arrive, you can select the Didn't receive a code link in the Check your email window to generate another code.
  4. Enter the confirmation code. And select Continue.enter 6 digit confirmation code to log in to QuickBooks My Account

That didn't help.  The error is saying that we are NOT AUTHORIZED to make changes with the cloud service.  I have tried to log in with the ONLY 2 logins and still not authorized.  How can I get one of our logins authorized?

This did not help.  We can log into our intuit account but are NOT AUTHORIZED to change cloud services.  I used the ONLY @ logins we have for Intuit and both would say I am not authorized to change cloud services.

  1. Go to the Help menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Give a brief description of your issue something like unable to log in to Payroll Cloud Services, then select Continue.

I'm curious if you ever got this resolved. I have the same issue, and have spent several hours on chat and the phone with customer service who supposedly can fix the problem, but "it will take 24-48 hours for the changes to go through". So I check again after 48 hours both times and nothing---still get the "you don't have sufficient authorization to....".

This isn't the kind of experience we want you to have in accessing your QuickBooks Workforce account, @Deanna74. That's why I'm here to share further details about this.

Our product engineers successfully identified the cause and provided resolutions to the Workforce log in issue in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Payroll. This way, you can continue managing your employees and payroll cloud services accounts.

You'll first have to make sure you log in as the Admin user on both your QBDT file and Workforce. Here's how:

  1. Close all the programs, then restart your computer.
  2. Right-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon.
  3. Select Run as the Administrator.

After that, you need to run the Verify Data tool. With this, you're able to fix any QuickBooks user or payroll issue due to a broken admin user login IDs. Here's how:

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Select Utilities, then choose Verify Data.
  3. Click OK when you see the message QuickBooks detected no problem with your data. You may continue using your company file.
  4. If Verify finds an issue with your data, you will be prompted to Rebuild Now or View Errors.
  5. Select Rebuild Now.

In case the problem continues, I'd recommend checking out this article to perform other troubleshooting processes: Resolving Potential Data Issues.

I'm also adding this article to resolve issues and answers the most frequently asked questions about My Account in QBDT Payroll: My Account Access. It includes topics about Intuit login, user id, password, and confirmation codes, to name a few.

Let me know how it goes by dropping a comment below. If you have other concerns about managing employees and QuickBooks Workforce, I'm just around to help. Take care always.
