Let me add a few details regarding Direct Deposit, Jbuter11.
For now, you can only add up to two bank accounts per employee for Direct Deposit.
I know how important it is for some businesses. I suggest sending feedback directly to our software engineers. They take note of our users' ideas and insights. Here's how:
The more request it has, the more likely it'll be added in future updates.
Once the feature is added, you can set it up for your employee.

Still, going into 2022 and we are needing this feature as well. Please add!
Thanks for joining the Community, ledgerrite.
I can certainly understand how an ability to direct deposit into two different banks accounts for an employee could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.
You can also submit your own feature requests while using QuickBooks.
Here's how:
Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.
Please feel welcome to post a reply if there's any questions. Have a lovely day!
Thanks, I send suggestions quite often and have sent SEVERAL times for this. QB should allow multiple accounts for direct deposits not just two. It is a complaint/request I hear from our employees ALL THE TIME. The costs to operate using QB should easily include this feature
i provided product suggestion feedback for this feature as well. we _really_ need the ability to direct deposit into more than two accounts. can we please get an update regarding where this feature request is prioritized on the product roadmap?
My company needs this as well. We have a new employee that wants to direct deposit into three accounts. Still no option and we’re into late 2022
I know this isn't easy for you, Gauchofife.
As of now, you can set up two direct deposits per employee. While the option to add three accounts is unavailable, I'd suggest sending feedback to our developer's team.
Here's how to share a feature request:
For QuickBooks Desktop:
For QuickBooks Online:

I know this isn't easy for you, @Adrian_A. Year after year, having to provide the same feedback that this feature isn't available while customer after customer asks for an update. I get that devs are focused on features which are going to provide the highest impact and ROI, but this seems like an 'easy' one to knock out. And yes, I get that the definition of 'easy' is subjective. But please... can you give us a real update regarding whether or not this is even on the roadmap?
Thanks for joining the thread, @ladyDoyle & @wdi.

Added features in QuickBooks are based on the number of requests that were sent to our developers. The more request they will get, the more likely it'll be implemented in the future. Please know that we can't provide a timeline for product updates since they are all subject to review.
I can see how this option would be helpful for you and your business. Therefore, let me take note of this as a suggestion to improve your QuickBooks experience.
It's important that we always meet our customer's needs. Thank you for this post, you said it perfectly. I have the exact same situation and hate to take away a benefit from an employee because of the switch.
I would also like to have the ability to have direct deposit into more than two accounts. In our current environment, employees don't want to have to go to the bank to move money or even have to go online to make transfers. It would be an added benefit to our employees to be able to deposit paychecks into more than 2 accounts. Please see that this option is a priority moving forward.
Thank you,
Doris
QB, Seriously, People have been asking since June of 2020 for you to implement this feature on this thread; the ability to direct deposit into more than 2 accounts from their paychecks. It is time to make the change. You are going to start losing users of your programs if they are unhappy, me being one of them. The cost of your payroll program keeps going up in leaps and bounds, yet there is no significant change to the program.
I can see the importance of being able to assign direct deposit into two different accounts, sif417.
You can also send a feedback on your behalf to let our product team know how this feature benefits your business needs. To so do, you can follow the steps provided below:
Furthermore, QuickBooks offers several reports that will help you manage payroll and keep track of employees expenses. To give more information and overview, check out this article for more details: Customize Payroll And Employee Reports.

We already have the option of 2 accounts. We should be able to do MORE THAN TWO ACCOUNTS. A lot of employees divide their paycheck in to more than 2 accounts, Checking, savings, Christmas account.....
I have made a lot of suggestions using the "help" feature as suggested a lot. Nothing has changed at this point.
Dawn
@doyleladybug ...and nothing will change, until hundreds (thousands?) of users put enough pressure on Intuit to add this feature. I'm sure Intuit is prioritizing features that are going to bring the highest ROI, and this isn't one of them. That doesn't mean this doesn't absolutely suck, as I want this feature too. Seems like such a small addition... seems like the code is already there... you can already split between two accounts... add one or two more.
In the meantime, the Intuit Community robot-drones (looking at you @MariaSoledadG) will parrot the standard boilerplate 'I can see the importance of [this feature]... Send feedback online'. Years will drift by... time will pass... and nothing will happen. Pretty frustrating, but I guess you have to pick your battles.
You misunderstand my post. I know how to do two different direct deposits. I want the ability to do direct deposit into 3 or more accounts. Your system is already set up to do two direct deposits, so you should easily be able to set up additional direct deposit capabilities.
I appreciate you for getting back to us, sif417.
I can see how helpful it would be to be able to send a direct deposit to three or more. That said, I'd suggest sharing this idea with our developer's team. Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development team to help improve your experience in QBO. You can follow the steps shared by MariaSoledadG to send one.

This request for the option of more than 2 direct deposit accounts has been outstanding for over 2 years with no updates. Either moderators are not passing this information on to the Development team or It doesn't look like QuickBooks cares so much about requests for Small Businesses -:(
I did send a message through the help function in quickbooks, but I am sure it won't make a difference and I most likely won't get a response. I spent 4 hours on the phone with quickbooks last Friday, and was not allowed to speak with a supervisor when the person I was speaking with did not understand my issue. I never did get it resolved. They are not responsive to the needs of their clients, It might be time to look into another software program that is more considerate of our needs.
These canned answers are annoying. Solutions are what we want. We have all done the Help Option in Quickbooks and still not help.
