I've got you covered in fixing your missing subaccounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll, @pixidoc.
Intuit will set up your payroll account for you the first time you import data into QuickBooks. Once you already have appropriate accounts, you can choose the accounts directly from your QuickBooks Chart of Accounts.
Based on your description above, it seems that you're unable to find your payroll accounts in QBO after completing the migration process. To fix this, you need to edit the account types (into subaccounts) through your Chart of Accounts. Then, make sure you're using the appropriate payroll accounts by checking out the Payroll Preferences page.
To change the account type of the accounts, here's how:
After that, you can view and edit your current payroll preferences. Before doing so, please know that the change of settings affects future transactions. However, you have an option to apply them to your past transactions too. If needed, you can backdate these changes for all transactions to the beginning of the year (does not affect changes to selected Bank account).
Once ready, here's how:
I've attached screenshots below that show the first four steps.

I am having this same problem. However, QB switched me from IOP to a stand-alone QB Payroll account. I cannot access my full chart of accounts. I can only access certain Payroll accounts and the other account options are standard ones -- they are not from my company's QBO chart of accounts. Can you help me access all of my QBO accounts and subaccounts in QB Payroll? Please note that I do not have QuickBooks Online Payroll. I have a standalone QuickBooks Payroll account. Please also note that none of this was my choice. QuickBooks forced me and many others to give up our amazing IOP accounts that never gave me any problems in 8+ years.
Thanks for dropping by the Community, yael2.

Thanks, but you are totally wrong. I already have a 15 year old QBOE account and all the subaccounts are setup and as I said in my question it is that when QB imported my info they set up a NEW company and the NEW company is just for payroll and the NEW company does not see past the first level of subaccounts....I need it to go to the third and fourth subaccount.
Your Colleague is WRONG and it is not a duplicate post but the same issue which you have not ANSWERED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! READ the question QB employees.....
I appreciate you for pointing this out, pixidoc.
Since most of your data were already imported except the subaccount, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Care Team. This case needs to be taken a closer look by our technical support to check and review your account settings and information.
