There are two different versions of the Pro Plus 2021 edition.

I just purchased the Pro Plus 2021.
Question # 1: My accountant tells me that Quickbooks works much better on a laptop vs a Mac. I normally use a Mac (with MacOS Sierra), but I do have another laptop with Windows 10 that I can use if that's a better option. What is recommended?
Question # 2: I was unable to complete installation on my laptop from the Disc so I'm going to need to download it from the website. Will there be an issue since I've already used my License number and Product code?
Question # 3: I own two businesses. This may be obvious once I get the program installed, but not on the materials that came with the program that I purchased at Office Max: can I have both of my businesses on the same subscription?

On your first concern, there are a lot of good options for laptops or Mac you can use to get the best QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) experience. You'll just need to make sure the two software meets the minimum system requirements for the QBDT program. This will ensure the system is compatible with your setup and help avoid any possible issues when installing and using it in the future. Second, as long you do not reach the maximum number of installations, you can able to complete installation on your laptop from the Disc. Then, there's no issue even you already used your License number and Product code. All you have to perform is find the license number and the sa product ID/code so you're able to use this when you start installing the software. However, if you're using a single-user license, you're unable to work at the same time in one company file. To further get extra details about it, you can contact our QuickBooks Suppor Team.
On the other hand, one business is for one company file or one EIN equivalent to one company file.

QB Desktop Pro Plus is running on a Windows machine. If you prefer running it on your Mac, you may have 2 options:
1. Have a Parallels license and a WIndows OS license to install on your Mac
2. Deploy a private cloud

As long as you are able to login to your CAMPS as the Primary Admin, you may reinstall your license anytime.

You may have multi company files created on QB Desktop for your multi business. But you are only able to open one company file at a time on the screen. You will need another solution to open more than one company file at the same
I only use the GL for doing a Financial Statement and Balance Sheet once a month, we sold the business we only have the land now. I am the only employee, we write maybe 3 checks a month. No deposits. Couldn't I get by with just the Pro Package, why would I need the Pro Plus. We don't run payroll either. I shouldn't have to pay for all the extras right?

You are still allowed to purchase a one time license of QB Desktop 2021 or 2020 at a lower price to save money. You don't need to purchase QB Desktop 2022 (Plus edition).
Why would I purchase the Pro again, if I already had it. I only use the GL 4 hours per month, no payroll nothing else. Business was sold, just own land and building so we maybe have 4 hours per month to use Quickbooks. I don't understand why I would purchase it again. Michael Rey told me last year I wouldn't be charged anymore. In 2012 when we started using Quickbooks we purchased the GL, so don't we own it?

I'm sorry I didn't explain it very well, we already have the Pro Plan, but we are also being charged for the Pro Plus Plan which we don't need. We only need the Pro subscription, but we are being charged for the Plus as well. How do we cancel the Plus and only go with with the Pro Subscription, which we already have and don't need to purchase. I am so confused. I don't want to be billed for something we don't use. Last year I was told we we wouldn't be billed for the Plus Plan. Since we bought the Pro Plan in 2012, why would we be billed? Don't we already own it. I am so confused with all of this. Thank you for your help. This is turning out to be so confusing for me and very stressful.
We only use a very minimal part of the GL, NO PAYROLL, NO INVOICING, NO AR...
Basically a few entries to GL AND PRINT THE P&L AND BALANCE SHEET...we sold the business, we still own the land and building so until it is sold, I have to run these reports.. Please help.

Since you're still unable to remove the plus subscription of your account even after following the steps above, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support.

I'm confused which QBD version will suit my business. I have 4 accountants. One does payroll, the second does bank statements entry, the third one does financial statements only and W2's and W3's at end of the year for the tax purpose. I'm the fourth one and the only owner. I supervise everyone. I do payroll, 941, 940 for my clients about 250. About 70 of those have restaurants or inventory business.
