I have started emailing paystubs to our employees but have one employee that his last name is only three letters. He can't open the email for some reason. He has entered his three letters of his last name and his last four numbers of his social, but it still will not let him open it. Any suggestions?

You should be able to sign up for this feature. Then the employees have to set up their acct. on their end. It is a really, wonderful, secure way for the employees to get their paystubs. Best thing is it saves YOU time. :)
Are you using QBO payroll or desktop payroll Enhanced (in the program)? I use the free feature viewmypaycheck (with QB payroll-desktop or online). That way I don't have to email anything. Once setup, the employee gets an email when the paycheck is generated. It also supplies the employee with their W2 at year end.
I'm using QB Desktop Pro 2017. I think its just the regular payroll and the enhanced, but not sure even how to find that out,,,
Linda, it looks like I'm using the Enhanced payroll version.

I need to get the feature back where the payroll pay stubs are automatically e-mailed. It stopped around October. How do I get this feature back??
The ViewMyPaycheck feature didn't stopped but, migrated into Workforce, McBeav.
Let's make sure you've invited your employees to view they're paystubs online. This way, they'll be automatically emailed when you run payroll for them.
Let me guide on how to do it.
Before doing so, let's make sure that your company file has setup the QuickBooks Workforce feature.
Please follow these steps if you're using QuickBooks Online:
If you're using QuickBooks Desktop, first, let's click the Employees menu, and then select Manage Payroll Cloud Services. Next, under QuickBooks Workforce, toggle the status to ON. Then, click Invite Employees. Then, select an employee you need to give access and enter their email address. Lastly, click Send Invite.
You can also share this article with your employees on how to accept the invitation: QuickBooks Workforce: Access your paychecks and W-2’s online.
You always have my back if there's anything that I can help you with.
We recently switched to QBO from software that emailed stubs directly as PDFs. I thought the switch to this new Workforce system was great. However, multiple employees are complaining because now it’s “on the internet” and that scares them. Never mind that it’s more secure than emailed PDFs, they won’t listen. Is there a way to email stubs out directly without creating PDFs and manually emailing each one? Otherwise I have to print them out each time, put them in envelopes, etc. Not ideal.
Let me provide some information about emailing your employees' paystubs, oldworldkitchens.
The option to directly email your employees' paystubs and without creating a PDF on it is unavailable. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can only download the paystubs through PDF to manually email them.
Cases like this, you can print them one by one in your Online account.
Here's how:

I've got further troubleshooting steps to help you with the incorrect email when sending an invoice.
Since you mention that your Outlook has multiple email accounts, select a default profile for your QuickBooks. Here's how:
I've also added this article that provides steps on how to notify your employees once the pay stubs are available to view online: Send stub notification to employees.
