Need Microsoft Surface Pro X driver for QB POS LD900 display pole help

I have been trying with no success to install the dispaly pole of Quickbooks POS v18 to a Microsoft Windows Surface Pro X laptop tablet computer .  I have tried everyting.  I have the pole connecterd using the legitimate Port doc but  but still does not work.  The machine senses the pole, but can not find a driver for it. Anyone here has done through this  and share a driver?

Hello there, jecalderon.

QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale can perform to its maximum output if you meet the system requirements. Hi there, @jecalderon.

We'd like to sort this out for you. However, it seems that the concern is more about the Microsoft driver. Since we don't have the available tools to reach out to Microsoft support, it would be best if you can contact them directly. This way, they can conduct a deeper investigation on what's causing this behavior.

In case you need help in accomplishing other tasks in QuickBooks Point of Sale, you can check our articles in this link. Let's make sure that the topic is set as "QuickBooks Point of Sale."

Don't hesitate to tag my name in the comment section below if you have other concerns or questions. I'm always ready to help.

Need Microsoft Surface Pro X driver for QB POS LD900 display pole help

I purchased all these equipment directly from Intuit. Having this said and the fact that what is advertised is the use of a Microsoft Surface Pro computer, is my full expectation that Intuit fully back-up support of  the equipment  sold and delivered by  Intuit.

Again .. What and where is the driver used in all your advertisement to allow all these sets in working order? Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to us, jecalderon.

It sounds that you've been through a lot with installing the display pole of Quickbooks POS v18 to a Microsoft Windows Surface Pro X. While the Community can provide answers and troubleshooting steps to a certain issue, there are also issues that only our phone support can do to resolve the problem.

If you haven't already, I would suggest giving our phone support a call. They have available tools and can do a screen-share with you to see what's going on in your end when trying to install it. You can also check out our support hours and contact us at a time convenient to you.

I'd appreciate it if you'd update me on how the call goes. I want to make sure this is taken care of.

Hi Jecalderon,

I have been experiencing the same problem with my surface pro X except I can’t get POS 19 to run/ function correctly. It’s looking like I will need to convince Best Buy to accept my Surface Pro X in exchange for an older model that might work better.

Did you have any luck with getting the software to work?

I would appreciate any advice you may have.
