Employees cannot sign into Workforce

I can help you can log in to your QuickBooks Workforce again in no time, Lisababy1938.

 

You can reset your login credentials through the sign-in page. Click the I forgot my user ID or password link so you can enter a new one. I'll show you how to do it:

 

  1. Go to this page: QuickBooks Workforce.
  2. Click I forgot my user ID or password.
  3. Enter your email address used by your employer during your first sign-up.
  4. You'll receive an account recovery email.
  5. Access your email and click Reset password.

 

If you're still unable to log in, I suggest contacting your employer to reset your access to Workforce.

I understand how important it is to sign in to Workforce successfully, @rk123. I'd like to provide a few more details to ensure you have access.

 

QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based software that works anywhere you have an internet connection. You can access it from any device and through different browsers.

 

As mentioned above, the sign-in page allows you to change your login information. To create a new one, click the I forgot my user ID or password link.

When some employees attempt to update their Workforce profiles, they receive the following message.

 "updates are disabled because your employer doesn't use QBP anymore" 

The following link was suggested to contact customer support, however, the problem persists.

I have another way how you can fix the error you're getting, AnneB8.

 

There are times your browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that may cause some unusual responses. You can log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window (incognito). I've provided the shortcut keys below.

 

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).
  • Press Ctrl Shift (Microsoft Edge).

 

Once signed in, double-check if fixes the issue. If so, return to your default browser and clear the cache to speed up the loading process. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Hello there, @Renee65. I can help you change your Workforce password.

 

We can utilize the Workforce link and perform the same step when one is unable to log in or someone who forgot the User ID or password. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Visit our workforce.intuit.com link then select Use a different ID.
  2. Click on Use a different ID again then hit on Try something else.


     
  3. This will route you to the Recover your Intuit Account if you can't sign in article.
  4. Follow the steps provided in the I forgot my user ID or password section.
  5. Make sure to reset your password when prompted.

 

However, if you still can't change your password, I'd suggest getting in touch with our Workforce support to help you with the process using their tools. As much as I want to help you myself but I can't ask for any confidential information from you.

Employees cannot sign into Workforce

We have the same problem. Unfortunately, when you Start a New File because your QB is too slow after 4-5 years, all those employees lose access to WorkForce. Even though the Company paying them has no changes. This is such a simple fix on Intuit's part, I am shocked it's still a problem. I have to call Intuit, and they pull up any name and remove them, then I re-invite them. Needless to say, 4 months later and we are still doing that. Come on Intuit, basic fix I would think.
