We are not able to delete an attachment when we copy a bill and want to update it. What's the alternative to this please?

We received reports from other users that the x menu beside the attachment is no longer available. This unexpected behavior is being worked on by our engineers with utmost urgency.
To keep you in the loop about the progress of the investigation, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online (QBO) Support Team. One of our specialists will help you sign up to the notification list of affected users. You’ll receive email updates once more information is available about the issue.

Please note that Quickbooks Online keeps old versions of attachments even if they are shown as deleted. Just hitting the "x" does nothing more than hide the attachment from you.
To not only remove the document as an attachment but to further remove it as an uploaded file, you need to follow Miriam's instructions:

I'm guessing that even after that, the document is still there for AI, Google, and Government Authorities to see it, but at least it feels like it might actually be gone at that point.
