Since I did the QB update this week, my icon bar has icon text highlighting. It's driving me crazy, and I can't find a way to put it back to the normal icons. Anyone have a fix?

Hello @LBC_Emily.
I appreciate your patience in this matter. I'm here to show you how to fix this issue with QuickBooks Desktop's Icon bar.
Let's change the preferences from the Desktop view. This way, we can change its color preference.
1. Go to Edit and select Preference.
2. Click the Desktop View, then tick the check box on the Switch to colored icons/light background on the Top Icon Bar.
After that, you can return them to their original form.

I appreciate you attaching a screenshot of the issue you encounter on the icon bar on your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) account, @LBC_Emily.
Let me get the help you need to fix this. To start, I recommend updating your QBDT to the latest release. It will keep your software up-to-date and get the latest features and fixes.
After that, run the Quick Fix my Program tool from the QuickBooks Tools Hub. The latter helps fix common errors. To do this, here's how:

Hello MirriamM,
I performed all of the fixes you mentioned and also went to the article you posted and started with Solution 2. Unfortunately, the link to the driver update for Intel is broken. It just takes me to a Microsoft error site that says I need to update my Internet Explorer to 5 or higher, which it already is. No matter what browser I use, it gives me the same error message. I think the link is incorrect. I then followed all of the other solutions in that article, and still nothing worked.
I did restart my computer after running the QB Quick Fix my Program, and still nothing. Is there something else we can try?
Hi MirriamM,
I tried all of the solutions you listed in your post, and then followed the link you posted and tried Solution 2 as directed. However, the link to update my Intel drivers just takes me to a page that says I have to use Internet Explorer 5 or higher, which I have. None of the other solutions in the article worked either.
After running the QB Quick Fix my Program tool, I did restart my computer, and still nothing.
Do you have any other solutions that might work? This issue only appeared after I did the last update that QB prompted me to do, so I would imagine it's related directly to that.
Thank you in advance for your help.
