I have a way to get previously filled 1099 forms in QuickBooks. And happy to share the steps with you.
I believe you're using our standalone 1099 E-File service to complete the forms as you do not have a payroll subscription. To get another copy, follow the steps below:

Hi there, @LM537. I'll help you resend your contractor's 1099 form.
You can access previously filed 1099 forms from January 1 through April 30 at any time from your QuickBooks Online account.

Additionally, you can access and print your other tax forms to save a copy for future use.

We don't do payroll through QB Online. Where can I find Payroll Tax?
I go to Payroll, Contractors, - the only option that I see is Prepare 1099's

I am trying to follow your steps to resend a 1099-MISC to a contractor. go to homepage, and click on "view past forms" except I cannot locate this option. where is the "view past forms" link? please don't say on my homepage, I have looked and cannot find it, please be more specific! thank you

Since you've mentioned that you're unable to locate the View Past Forms, it's best to download your previous 1099-MISC from within QuickBooks. Right after, you can now send this to your contractors via email.
Here's how:
If you don't see the previous copy of your 1099, I recommend contacting our support. This way, they can give you a copy which you may use to send in your contractors.
In addition, you can refer to this guide to learn more about 1099s: Print your 1099 and 1096 forms.
You may also want to file your state 1099 forms if you filed your 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC forms with the IRS.
