Logo on invoices printing incorrectly

I've added our logo to our invoices, and it was working fine in the past.  For some reason now it cuts off the last 2 letters of the company name and the second line when we actually print/pdf it.  The print preview shows the full logo.  I've attached what it looks like, has any one else experienced this?

Logo on invoices printing incorrectly

Hello there, @jasonagosti!

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so we can check if the incorrect printing of your logo on invoices is related to your printer or not.

To begin with, we can utilize your notepad to check if it prints fine with any file outside of QuickBooks.

  1. Go to Start.
  2. Select Notepad.
  3. Enter some text.
  4. Choose File.
  5. Click Print.

If these steps didn't work, you'll have to turn off your printer and restart your computer. If otherwise, you can utilize the Print & PDF Repair Tool from the QuickBooks Tool hub. This fixes most of the common printing issues in QuickBooks.

In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about some printing troubleshooting steps: Learn how to resolve printing issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

Lastly, I've got you these helpful articles for ideas about how you can manage all your customers and sales transactions: Income and Expenses for QuickBooks Desktop.

Keep me posted in the comments if you have any other questions. I'll be here to lend a hand.

I'll share some steps on how you can fix the printing error. To verify, have you tried performing the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool? If not, please run this tool to fix the invoice logo issue. Let me guide you how.

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download QuickBooks Tool Hub, and then save it on your Desktop.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe). Then, follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  4. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
  5. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
  6. Choose QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool. It will take about a minute to run.

After running the tool, try printing the invoice again. If you're still experiencing the same result, please continue with Solution 2: Reset your temp folder permissions in this article: Troubleshoot PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop.

Additionally, here's a link that covers all the tasks you can do when using QBDT. It has topics with articles, just choose a title that fits your concern.

Don't hesitate to reply to me anytime if you still have questions or concerns with invoices. I'll be around for you. Take care and be safe.

Did you ever get this working correctly where your logo prints in its entirety without getting cut off?  If so, can you share the steps to fix it? The Tool Hub did nothing and every other suggestion online has not fixed the problem.  It had been working correctly before. It is beyond frustrating and looks so unprofessional!

I am having the same issue on my mac book.  All of the sudden my logo that used to print fine now prints zoomed in so that the logo is completely unreadable.  I tried the Desktop hub fix but, it is not compatible with mac.

When I use a PC laptop of my phone to print there is no print issue.

What do you advise?

Logo on invoices printing incorrectly

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community, EES_USA_EastCoast. Let's perform some steps to ensure that you can print your entry with an accurate logo.

QuickBooks Desktop Windows and Mac versions are two different platforms and intended to work independently from each other, especially with the troubleshooting steps. This is the reason why the details shared above aren't compatible with your Mac.

All printers are different and it could change the design on the invoice or report when you print it. That's the reason that your logo that used to print is now printed zoomed in or unreadable. To start fixing the issue, you'll have to increase the margins on your standard form to fix the width.

Here's how:

  1. Open the invoice/report and choose the Print icon.
  2. Select QuickBooks. Then, choose Options or Margins to choose your alignment.
  3. Click Print.

Please know that some printers can't print the width for standard forms. That said, you can utilize custom forms to have larger margins.

Then, click this article to view further instructions or list common printing issues and how to fix them: Troubleshoot printing in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to view steps on how you can keep QuickBooks for Mac up-to-date so you always have the latest features and fixes: Update QuickBooks for Mac to the latest release.

Leave a comment below if you have other questions about printing log in QuickBooks Mac or any QBDT tasks. I'll be happy to answer them, EES_USA_EastCoast, Take good care!

Logo on invoices printing incorrectly

I'm having issues. This just started happening a week or two ago. When I print any quick-book invoice. Ours or someone else's. The company logo print huge in the spaced allowed. So only a fraction get printed. Everything looks find on the PDF before print but somehow the print comes out all messed up.

I tried to download the quickbook tool hub as another QB form suggested, however it is not supported by mac. Very frustrating that years of using QB and all of a sudden this happens.
