If the issue persists, you can run the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This program is used to fix common file errors and repair data integrity issues.
Additionally, it's recommended to use this tool on Windows 10 (64-bit) for the best experience. When you're ready, here's how to run it:
- Close your QuickBooks.
- Download the most recent version (1.4.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Then, save it in your local storage.
- Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
- Follow the on-screen steps to install, then agree to the terms and conditions.
- When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
Once done, you'll have to launch the Quick Fix my File function. I'll show you how:
- From the tool hub, select the Company File Issues tab.
- Select Quick Fix my File.
- Click OK when it completes.
- Open your QuickBooks Desktop.
Lastly, you can always check our articles here if you need some references for completing your other tasks in the program.
