Have you purchased a license with the link you provided? Was it reliable? I have purchased with my credit card and I have not received the license until now. Tried contacting Support but it seems like it's already in weekend mode. I was planning to install the license this weekend. [sad]  

Yes, I did. I also purchase QB Desktop Pro 2021 from them years ago. They are a reputable company that has been around since 2009. I get great customer service from them when trying to determine which QB program I need for my bookkeeping/accounting business. Just google Fourlane Quickbooks and you can find more info about them.

I have the Desktop Pro 2021 version and need to update it to 2024.  How do I do that?  What is the cost to do so?

Welcome to the Community! Here's how to upgrade to 2024:

1. To start, make sure that you already purchased your QBDT Pro 2024. It would also be better to have your license number handy.
2. Begin by downloading the QuickBooks Desktop Manager.
3. Next, click Download.
4.  Click the QuickBooks License Agreement and click Let's get started.
5.  From there, enter the license number to look for your QBDT 2024 and select Search.
6. Then, pick the email address you use to receive the OTP. Once you receive it, enter it in the dedicated field.
7. After that, look for your QBDT 2024 and select Install.
8. When completed, select Open QuickBooks and activate it.

I do not recommend purchasing the license through the previously mentioned link. I was frustrated waiting for my license to be sent to my email. I chatted with 3 people on Monday and they were confused as to why I used the link to purchase the license. Duh! Then after struggling for the next 2 days, I was able to get someone else to cancel my order and told her I would consider using QBO. I noticed most discussions would always mention the name of Fiat Lux and I didn't find any suspicious activity about it. I contacted them yesterday and am in the process of ordering a license with their help. Getting cashback was another strong reason to contact them. Hopefully I can get the license before the weekend.

Hoping you can help, already have QB pro plus 2022 w/ enhanced payroll add on.  I can renew both which i would prefer to do instead of getting QBO.  I need to find out 100% that the option to download my bank transactions to my QB register  will be included or not. I like to use it for this specific reason. I can do payroll through another company but i really NEED  bank feed upload option. I can not seem to get a clear answer!  TY so much!

Thanks for responding!   I have 2022 now and do all of that currently, I need to either update/renew to 2024 QBD this month OR  be forced to switch to QBO. I need to know if the 2024 version supports the bank feed download to the register the same as right now. I keep seeing conflicting info!  TY!

The QuickBooks Desktop 2024 version does support bank feed download to the register, just like the current version you're using.

Intuit still supports QB Desktop 2022 until 2025. You can run the bank feed as usual as long as your license is active. You don't need to upgrade to 2024 at the moment. Make sure you can access CAMPS and find your license code there. You may also consider to pay the renewal fee thru a partner and get $100 cashback.

Thanks!   I was told that my 2022 version wouldnt support my payroll add on which is why i need to renew.  If 2022 version is allowing the bank feed upload/ payroll, why is everyone so up in arms?? lol

thanks for the detail, however there is nothing that says where you purchase QB desktop 2024.  I prefer to get

a disc.  If that is not possible, please explain how to get the desktop version.

I do not use the connections to the internet with my QB program I have used since about 2002 or 2003.

I imagine the only reason I need the internet is for updates.  I already have QB 2021.

I also need to know how to look at the answers to my inquiries here on the community.

How do I find the answers people have given?

This is all very confusing to me, because I do not know how to purchase it

and make sure it is authentic and can do all the inner reports and all.

I do not need any of the internet connections unless it needs to be updated

or there is a glitch.  I do not use payroll services or other things needed to connect to a

bank account.  I just want it to do what its always done and not have it be cancelled out

this month.

Will joining this way affect all of my past files for many years?

Will I be able to keep the Quickbooks and have all the same reports and memorized transactions

Why does it say online banking, I want nothing to do with that EVER.

Are these internet things required or optional?  I dn not use QB through the internet

and feel I would lose a lot of the other features if I have to be bound to the internet.

2 for personal accounts  and 1 for our business.

How will I be able to do this on the 2024 version?

I do not use it for any invoicing basically accounts registers

and reports.

You have QB Desktop 2021 with a non subscription license, correct?

If you don't need to run any add-ons after May 2024 (e.g QB Payment, QB Payroll), you don't need to upgrade to QB Desktop 2024.
